It looks like Ricky Martin isn’t the only celebrity coming out about his/her gender preference. HBO True Blood’s Anna Paquin revealed on Thursday that she swings both ways.

“I’m bisexual and I give a damn,” she said.

Her message came in a celebrity-laden public service announcement for the Give a Damn campaign, an internet-based anti-discrimination effort led by singer Cyndi Lauper’s True Colors fund.

The 27-year-old actress, who is engaged to her True Blood costar Stephen Moyer, surprised even the video crew, because they didn’t know she was bisexual until the shoot. Not all celebrities who are part of the campaign are necessarily gay, bi, or lesbian, such as Kim Kardashian and Sharon Osbourne.

True Blood fans were so shocked by Anna’s statement that they all simultaneously logged on to Give A Damn, causing the site to crash last week.

I’m getting quite tired of the predictable jewel tones and monochrome gowns that the stars usually wear to awards shows and red carpet events. For last Saturday’s SAG Awards, my picks for best dressed were the stars who donned prints and beads.

True Blood’s Anna Paquin strayed away from the dark side with her printed Alexander McQueen dress.

Although I love Meryl Streep’s belted printed gown, I’d do without those sunglasses.

And this is how rumors start...Anna Paquin was spotted wearing a baggy dress in Beverly Hills and somehow, the news that she is pregnant circulated like wildfire. Well folks, it was just a baggy dress. No baby bump in that belly. That's not to say that she can't be a surrogate mom to fiance Stephen Moyer's kids though.
