LeAnn Rimes and Dean Sheremet, her husband of seven years, have separated. Sources close to the couple say that they have been having problems for a while. Divorce is not yet an option but the two have not been staying together although they are trying to work it out. Does this have any bearing on the allegations that LeAnn was stalking this other dude?

She may have been dethroned as Miss California but Carrie Prejean is not leaving her show biz career. It seems that she is trying her hand at another thing – singing. She performed at Opening Day at the Del Mar Racetrack in San Diego on Wednesday. How did she do? She’s got spirit, you have to give her that. Despite hecklers and some bum notes, former Miss Cali was all smiles.

We haven’t heard much of Lindsay in a while but apparently, she has not been idle. The news is that she is starting Unforgettable Productions with Kristi Kaylor. This will allow her to produce TV shows and films. Watch out for Faux Real – it’s supposedly the Entourage of fashion. And that’s just one of the many projects that she has lined up.

One of Miley’s current projects is the fashion line that Wal-Mart will be releasing. She was recently interviewed by Elle magazine for their August issue, and she couldn’t help but exclaim how excited she is about the fashion line. She says that she would pay $500 for the jeans, which would cost $20. Now I am all curious about her fashion line!

Who would have thought? The respected comedian is set to direct the Broadway version of Nutty Professor, which he co-wrote in the 1960s. Music will be written by Marvin Hamlisch and lyrics by Rupert Holmes. We can expect to see the show on stage next year.

His caustic humor has endeared him to many and made him lots of critics as well. You wouldn’t think that he’d admit to making a mistake, though, would you? Well Sir Cowell, as Ryan Seacrest sometimes calls him, has admitted to maybe making a mistake with Susan Boyle – not about her talent but her mental and emotional capacity to rise to stardom. He even went as far as to say that he could have been kinder to other contestants! Wow!

She used to be Carmela Soprano, wife of mobster Tony Soprano. When the series ended after a very long run, her future seemed unsure. She waited a couple of years and now is Nurse Jackie. Critics seem to think that it is a good move for her. I guess we have to watch and see for ourselves.
