Alanis Morisette, best known for her angsty songs, has plenty of new emotional material now that her ex is engaged to Scarlett Johanssen. The two broke up years ago, which she reveals, caused her to

Mary Louise Parker, and her beau of two years Weeds co-star and the doomed love interest of Katherine Heigl in Grey’s Anatomy, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, have broken of their engagement. Boo hoo. They were engaged earlier this year, and seem to have on of those on-again-off-again relationships, so wouldn’t be surprised if things change again by next week.

After a very public wedding several years ago (it had sponsors, for chrissakes) Star Jones has — surprise, surprise — filed for divorce. “Several years ago I made an error in judgment by inviting the media into the most intimate area of my life. A month ago I filed for divorce. The dissolution of a marriage is a difficult time in anyone’s life that requires privacy with one’s thoughts. I have committed myself to handling this situation with dignity and grace and look forward to emerging from this period as a stronger and wiser woman.”

Rapper Kanye West and fiancee designer Alexis Phifer have announced that they’re ending their engagement.

Though Phifer says they’re still friends, she’s still sad — and maybe, shocked. A friend of Kanye reveals that the couple have been having problems, and that the rapper’s been really busy with his career. “Kanye is really focused on his show; he’s putting everything into the show right now. Alexis is a nice girl, but Kanye has been going through a rough time.” In fact, Kanye hadn’t been bringing her to events for the last few weeks.

Even comedian Robin Williams will find little to laugh about the recent turn of events. Marsha Garces Williams recently filed for divorce because of “irreconcilable differnces.” They had been married for 19 years. They have two kids: Zelda, 18, and son Cody, 16.

This is Williams’ second divorce.

The separation also ends their working relationship; Marsha had been the producer of several of his films, including Jakob the Liar, Patch Adams, and Mrs. Doubtfire and worked as his “assistant” on films like Dead Poets Society. Prior to that, she was his nanny.

Wow, you just knocked the bottom out of me.” Apparently, his wife had been in California for nearly a month, apparently working on more than a tan.

I have to admit, there are very few celebrity couples that I feel sad about when they go their separate ways, and Heath Ledger & Michelle Williams are one of those very few.

It’s finally been officially confirmed that Ledger & Williams, who met in 2004 on the set of Brokeback Mountain, are breaking up.  The duo have been together ever since meeting on the set of the film & have a 23-month-old daughter together, Mathilda.

An insider close to the couple revealed that the split was quiet & amicable, happening a few weeks ago.

The source went on to further reveal that, “The relationship had been rocky recently. They tried very hard to make it work but finally decided to separate. They just grew apart.”

“They have a beautiful daughter and they are both committed to being great parents.”

I am so pleased to be posting about something other than Lindsay Lohan’s idiocy, I can tell you that much!  And the fact that hottie Jessica Alba has split up with her boyfriend of more than two years, Cash Warren, makes it all worth while.

26-year-old Alba reportedly broke up with her28-year-old producer beau last week, over the phone.  Hrmmm, well that was kind of a bitch move, wasn’t it? 

An insider reveals that Jessica called Cash & told him, “I’m not in love with you anymore.”

Within just a few short hours, Alba has sent an assistant over to the Los Angeles home the two shared together to pack up Warren’s belongings & essentially move his ass out.

Cash is very broken up about the whole ordeal, according to a source who stated, “The breakup “happened…almost out of nowhere.”

“[Cash] thinks it’s for another guy but doesn’t know….he’s totally devastated. But it was all her.”

Well, wonder who will be next on Alba’s dating list….

Actress Catherine Keener & her My Best Friend’s Wedding actor husband Dermot Mulroney have called it quits.  The Hollywood couple have been married a whopping 17 years & have a seven-year-old son named Clyde.

Apparently Keener & Mulroney have been separated since May 2005, but have only just submitted divorce papers to the Los Angeles County Superior Court.  The documents state, of course, irreconcilable differences as the reason for the divorce.

Or maybe Dermot finally realized that Catherine is one big beotch…..

Wow.  Pamela Bach must be a really bad mum if David Hasselhoff won temporary custody of their two kids.  For some amazing reason, even after the infamous drunk hamburger-eating video, the Hoff has won the kids.

The court hearing was held Monday & was closed to the press.  The judge presiding over the case was reportedly stunned when evidence was given regarding the psychological evaluations of the family.

Apparently Hoff’s ex-wife Pamela Bach was abusive towards her kids as well, especially on young Hayley.  Experts also noted that Bach refused to be drug tested.

So, for the next two weeks before the real child custody hearing, the Hoff will be with the kids. 

Jeez, what could Pam have done that was worse than the drunk hamburger-eating video?  Damn!
