Michael Douglas Beats Cancer

Movie star Michael Douglas has announced that his six month battle with Stage III throat cancer has been won. Douglas announced his victory over the disease during a Monday Today Show interview with Matt Lauer that will air on Tuesday.
Douglas told Lauer:
“I feel good, relieved. The tumor is gone. But, you know, I have to check out on a monthly basis now to maintain. I guess there’s not a total euphoria. I’ll probably take a couple of months of getting checked out. But it’s been a wild six-month ride.”
In October Douglas completed his last round of chemotherapy and was told by doctors that his chance of survival was 70 to 80 percent.
Kate Gosselin: Kids Not In School Because Of Anger Issues

Kate Gosselin spoke today with the crew of NBC’s Today show and explained that her kids were out of school because of anger issues brought forth by their parents divorce. She also revealed that her kids were not kicked out of school for acting out as some tabloid reports had recently revealed, but instead she agreed to pull them from the school after speaking with the school’s principle.
Gosselin said on the show:
“They were having anger issues,” while adding, “They were acting out, having behavior things. Things that are — I’ve talked to other moms going through divorces — very normal, normal stuff in that regard. So I did what I could do. (The school and I) mutually agreed. I brought them home. I have them with a private tutor, an early education teacher. She is teaching them one on one, and they are excelling, along with weekly therapy.”
“Today Show” Cast Covers “I Got A Feeling” By Black Eyed Peas

The cast of NBC’s morning talk series The Today Show, finished off their weekend of “Today Goes Viral” videos by creating their own version of the Black Eyed Peas hit song “I Got A feeling.
The cast was helped along by their crowd of 150 people along with Jenna Bush-Hager and the always funny news achor Brian Williams.
The entire video was shot using a single take and was inspired by a group of students at the University of Quebec (their video reached over 9 million views earlier this year.)

‘Today Show’ Cast Halloween Costumes 2010 [Video]

From Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga to Amelia Earhart the cast of the Today Show hosted their annual Halloween costume show today and the results were creative with some funny outcomes.
It’s funny, most costumes are point on, but with Lady Gaga all you really have to do is throw on a crazy dress and say “Look at me, I’m Lady Gaga”

Lisa Rinna Boutique Burglarized, Clothing Stolen

Reality star Lisa Rinna’s Sherman Oaks boutique was burglarized overnight.
According to PopCrunch:
While Rinna and her husband Harry Hamlin were in New York promoting their new TV Land docu-soap Harry Loves Lisa on The TODAY Show Tuesday, cat burglars were making off with 80-100 garments at the Belle Gray Boutique at 13812 Ventura Blvd., according to store manager Rona Argana.
According to reports when Rinna arrived at 7:16am she found the story ransacked and various articles of closing where missing.
Katy Perry Performs On ‘Today Show’ During ‘Summer Concert Series’

Katy Perry performed several of her hit songs today during the Today Show’s Summer Concert Series.
Perry performed her newest hit “California Girls” along with several of her other hit songs which included “Teenage Dream” and a remix of the song that made her famous “I Kissed A Girl.”
The Today Show summer series is a free outdoor concert series that occurs every Friday in Rockefeller center during the summer months, the show broadcasts live on the morning talk show.

Lady GaGa Performs On Today Show, Rocks Rockefeller!

Lady GaGa performed on the Today Show on Friday morning and she threw an amazing concert while performing in the pouring rain.
The ‘Fame Monster’ performed her hits “Bad Romance” and “Alejandro” and a few new songs which included “You and I” and “Teeth” from her upcoming sophomore album.

Today Show Removes “Gay Marriage” Ban For Wedding Contest

Executives at NBC have removed the “Gay ban” for their popular Today Show ‘Modern Wedding Contest.’
While the ban may no longer exist, it’s still up to producers to pick the winner, which in essence gives them the ability to watch, but not choose gay respondents video applications. Read the rest of this entry »
Elizabeth Edwards Opens Up About Husbands Affair [Video]

It was her first TV interview since separating from husband John Edwards and Elizabeth Edwards opened up to Matt Lauer during a Today Show interview.
Edwards told Lauer that she is “not just a cuckolded wife” and then talked about attacks against her character. She also spoke about her children and her battle against cancer and she comments on why she doesn’t speak ill of her ex-husband for her children’s sake.
