UFC President Dana White is hosting a benefit event to raise money for TJ Lavin, the MTV host and BMX star who was critically injured last month. His accident left him with various injuries and for a short while placed the extreme sportsman in a coma. Ty Pinney will also receive part of the proceeds, Pinney was also placed in a coma during a stunt attempt last month.
As part of the fundraiser, Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker will auction off a set of drums, while Rob Dyrdek is offering a trip to his Fantasy Factory. Other celebrities and sports stars will also offer auction materials to help both men.

BMX star and MTV Host TJ Lavin is beginning to show signs of improvement after waking up from his coma. According to E! Online, Lavin regained consciousness and has begun breathing on his own.
On Thursday the hospital where Lavin is staying took out his feeding tube and he's begun to mumble some words, including answering questions from doctors, family and friends.
TJ's friend Chas Aday told People "
"He's answering questions" and "He'll say 'yes' a little bit and he knows where he is, but he's not opening his eyes yet."

BMX star TJ Lavin, the host of MTV's The Challenge, was taken to a Las Vegas hospital on Thursday after a botched stunt left the extreme sport star with brain swelling and other extensive injuries.
Lavin crashed his bike when attempting a jump during the Sin City "Dew Tour" event, a tour sponsored by Mountain Dew.
TJ, 33, was rushed to University Medical Center where he was immediately put into a medically induced coma in the hopes of allowing his body to repair itself and to avoid the extreme pain his injuries would have provided him.
