The King’s Speech has beat out The Social Network in yet another awards show, taking the top prize Sunday at the Screen Actors Guild Awards.
The movie has 12 nominations at this years Oscar’s and with a best director win at the Directors Guild Awards the movie should be a good choice for front runner when the Academy Awards kick off in just four short weeks.
Among other big winners was Colin Firth for his role in The King’s Speech and Natalie Portman, the front runner for Black Swan.

Producers at late night sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live are rumored to be going after Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg for a guest spot on this weekends show.
Jessie Eisenberg, the star of The Social Network will be hosting the show, which is sure to poke fun at Facebook and Zuckerberg in some way.

Justin Timberlake wants an Oscar for his role as Napster founder Sean Parker in the smash hit biopic The Social Network and industry sources are now saying that he’s begun to heavily campaign for the award. Timberlake currently has six Grammy’s and two Emmy’s.
According to the Page Six Column of The New York Post, Timberlake is preparing an aggressive campaign to be nominated for the top acting award.
Timberlake already has a Facebook campaign supporting his bid for the Oscar.

The Social Network chronicles the rise of Mark Zuckerberg and his wildly successful social media website Facebook. The movie will debut on September 24th at the 48th Annual New York Film Festival, today however we at least have the first official trailer for the movie.
The David Fincher helmed film features Jesse Eisenberg, Andrew Garfield and Justin Timberlake and it takes the viewer from Zuckerberg’s early days at Harvard where he invented Facebook through the companies founding days and super quick rise to internet domination, while including the various enemies Zuckerberg made along the way.
