Jennifer Garner took some time out of her schedule this week to have a playdate with Sesame Street’s very own Elmo.
In the clip (featured below), Garner learns how to properly stretch with the help of her red colored friend.
It’s a cute clip and it’s always great to see big stars stepping out to teach children important lessons:
What did you think about the clip? It’s quite a long way Jennifer Garner has come since her Alias days, although it would have been funny to see J.J. Abrams direct the clip.

Apparently if you get kicked off Sesame Street you’re still allowed to visit the entire town of Springfield. After it was announced that her Sesame Street appearance was being banned because of her low cut clothing, Katy Perry and Fox TV announced that the pop star would appear on an upcoming episode of the popular cartoon.
Katy will appear in a Christmas special called The Fight Before Christmas which will air on December 5 says Entertainment Weekly.
Perry will be interacting with some puppets and will play Moe’s girlfriend while performing the song The 39 Days of Christmas which she will be accompanied on by various members of the Simpson’s cast.

Katy Perry may not be able to watch herself on Sesame Street after her appearance was banned because she “showed too much cleavage” but a “version” of that performance will be realized when the cast of Saturday Night Live spoofs her appearance.
Perry will also be on SNL during the spoof episode to perform her two newest hits “California Gurls” and “Teenage Dream.” The show will also feature Amy Poehler as host for the 36th season premiere.
Sesame Street producers announced this week that the Perry sequence they had taped would not air on New Year’s Eve because thousands of parents were outraged that she had so much cleavage showing. Perry was to perform a kid-friendly version of her song “Hot N Cold.”
PopCrunch points out the humor in the fact that Elmo seemed to love her “appearance” giving her a shout out during an ABC Googe Morning America appearance in which he said she could come back anytime she would like to perform again.
“We’ll have another one. Elmo loves Ms. Katy and we had a good time. So we’ll have another play date.”
Katy’s performance and the SNL spoof debut tonight, Sept. 25 @ 11:30 PM on NBC.

If you have an unexplainable fear of muppets (my wife does), I suggest you divert your eyes because this version of “True Blood” titled “True Mud” is full of muppets, specifically of the Sesame Street type.
The skit is a parody of the popular HBO vampire series and will appear on the 41st season premier of the popular children’s TV series. You can check it out here and then tune into PBS Kids on September 27.
Here’s the parody:

It’s so cool! The First Lady is going to join iconic Sesame Street on its 40th anniversary! She is going to promote gardening and healthy eating. I haven’t watched Sesame Street in ages, but this one, I just might see.
