These actresses have invaded Hollywood but some might not know that they have Italian blood in them. Some of them gained fame and popularity at a young age and some are still taking the world by storm.
So who are there surprising Italian actresses? For some interesting facts about who they are, here’s the list of 5 young actresses in Hollywood that you didn’t know were Italian.
Rachel Bilson – A film and television actress who gained popularity from the series “The O.C.” Her mother is Italian and her father is Jewish.
Hayden Panettiere – The film and television actress has Italian ancestry. Her surname even means “baker” in Italian.
Lindsay Lohan – Who knew that the controversial starlet Lindsay Lohan is from an Italian descent? The actress who is currently filming a biopic about Elizabeth Taylor is 25% Italian and 75% Irish.
Demi Lovato – The singer actress who rose to fame by starring in “CampRock” has Italian ancestry, as well as Mexican, Irish and English.
Selena Gomez – Justin Bieber’s girlfriend is most often referred to as a Latina but little did anybody know that the singer also has Italian blood in her. Her mother is part Italian and her father is Mexican.
Justin Bieber Attacks Paparazzo

Teen pop sensation Justin Bieber is invited for questioning at the Los Angeles County Sherriff’s office after a paparazzo complained about being “roughened” up by the young singer at a shopping center.
The brawl allegedly happened after the certain paparazzo tried to snap a picture of Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez after they came out of theater at The Commons at Calabasas. The paparazzo reportedly called 911 and complained about a pain on his chest.
The 18-year-old “Boyfriend” singer was captured in photos while he was looking fiery and mad. Bieber lost his calm and allegedly attacked the paparazzo as his girlfriend Selena tried to calm him after. Deputies said that the paparazzo was taken to the hospital where he was treated and then discharged while Bieber and Gomez left before the sheriffs arrive.
It was not the first time that Justin Bieber attacked a paparazzo, there were many other times that he had rough encounters with photographers. And as it seems like, while his fame gets bigger, the same goes with his conceit.

Out with the old, in with the new.
Disney couple Selena Gomez and Nick Jonas have called it quits, according to People. The source revealed that the two broke up early March because they are too swamped with work. And if you believe their PR, the two “will always have a super strong connection.”
Meet the newest members of the On-Again, Off-Again Club.
I doubt there’s even going to be any breakup drama. Besides having no solid foundation to begin with, the two are extremely busy with new projects. Nick will be busy touring with the Jonas Brothers this summer, while Selena will be filming a new movie in Europe, as soon as she’s done promoting her new album Kiss and Tell.
Selena launches her Les Sorciers de Waverly Place collection at C&A Stone on Bd Haussmann in Paris on March 31.
Not only that, the 17-year-old Wizards of Waverly Place actress is also the latest celebrity to launch her own fashion line. She teamed up with Kmart for a budget-friendly juniors fashion line called Dream Out Loud.
Just as we predicted, the line mirrors the teen queen’s personal style. Come July, you can shop for Dream Out Loud apparel, handbags, belts, scarves, hats, hair accessories, socks and hosiery.
With a schedule like that, who would even have time to mope around? Selena should be thankful she won’t go down the eating-chocolates-while-watching-sappy-chick-flicks route.

The Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards just wrapped up this weekend, and it was a battle between the grownups and teens for the best dressed votes. See which age group won.
Selena Gomez not only took home the Favorite TV Actress award for Wizards of Waverly Place, she also stole the red carpet spotlight with her Christian Cota dress and Sergio Rossi gladiator shoes.
Twilight’s Nikki Reed was a breath of fresh air in her Cynthia Steffe dress.
Although this look may be a little too grown up on the 16-year-old, Miranda Cosgrove’s Christian Siriano dress got my nod. Her show iCarly was also named Favorite TV Show that night.
The great thing about kids and teens is that they can wear candy-colored outfits. True Jackson, VP’s Keke Palmer pulled off this Adam dress matched with Christian Louboutin peep-toes.
Demi Lovato’s Faith Connexion LBD was spruced up with silver detail, Renee Caovilla shoes, and a Vita cocktail ring.

Aww, young love. Disney darlings Nick Jonas and Selena Gomez, both 17 years old, played a sweet round of golf last Sunday in LA. The youngest Jonas got into the Olympic spirit as he sported a Polo U.S.A. jacket all afternoon.
I think I know who the better swinger is. Sorry, Selena, but I don’t think you can work your wizard spells on the greens!

Is Selena Gomez The New Miley Cyrus?

She may have a long way to go before raking in what childstar-turned-teen sensation Miley Cyrus has earned through the years, but Selena Gomez is on her way there.
According to TMZ, the other Disney starlet is busy earning her millions this year. She got $65,000 for her new movie Ramona and Beezus, which will be shown in US theaters on August 13. And if the movie does well in the box office, Fox Pictures could give the 17-year-old a bonus anywhere from $250,000 to $1 million.
Selena’s also busy with her popstar career while continuously working on the hit Disney show, Wizards of Waverly Place. Seeing that Miley’s Hannah Monatana is soon coming to an end, Selena could very well be next in line to take the crown.

The wonderful thing about Disney isn’t that they own two different fantasy lands or that you still aren’t sure why Pluto is a dog dog and Goofy is a dog that can talk, it’s that they can pump out child celebrities like it’s their business. Why? Because it is their business! Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and the Jonas Brothers have all come through the ranks of the Disney factory.
The most famous of all though might be Miley Cyrus. Some people find her attractive probably because she is on the edge of pervertedness and she got her teeth fixed, while others can’t stand her. Her closest competition in the Disney fam is Selena Gomez and she is a million times better than Miley. From the looks to the singing to the class, this girl beats Miley like Mike Tyson beats a watermelon.
You don’t see pics like this of Miley unless there is a snow cone, stripper pole and her dad somewhere in the background. Maybe Selena has it easy because Miley gets the majority of the attention and therefore will do no better than to end up like Britney and Lindsay…wait they all end in ‘y’ like Miley. Yeah she is screwed.
So there it is, I say Selena is better and although I could care less about either one of them, I know you do and therefore I write about them.
Team Selena son! Eat some face.
