Robert Pattinson named world’s sexiest man…again
No surprise here: Robert Pattinson of Twilight fame topped Glamour Magazine’s poll for the 50 Sexiest Men in the World. (Other names in the top five: Johnny Depp, David Beckhan, Zac Efron, and Twilight co-star Taylor Lautner.)
Why, why, why?
Robert Pattison seems like a great guy, but we know that he and Taylor Lautner only got in because of their roles in the Twilight saga. And, FYI, their characters like to drink blood and tend to howl at the moon. And sometimes glitter like Christmas balls under the sun.
At least Johnny Depp’s character (though grungy and with bad teeth) was a swashbuckling hero who could cut through a crowd of enemies with an expert swing of the blade. That takes skill, you know? And David Beckham plays soccer, and Zac Efron sang and danced his way to people’s hearts via High School Musical.
What does Twilight character Edward do? Brood? But ah, we forget, he broods in a sexy and soul-searching way. Because we all know that what women really want are “intense” men, even if they aren’t technically human, and quite possibly have commitment issues, and still live with their family after 500 years.

Robert Pattinson should be reminded that he’s not really immortal, this weekend the Twilight actor was involved in a car crash while backing out of a friends Malibu home.
Pattinson backed into the parked Kia at around 9:0 PM on Saturday and the owner of the Kia, Rob Gottschlich didn’t seemed to concerned telling OK!:
“If I had a nice car like a Lexus or something, maybe [I would be concerned], but I’ve got an old Kia, I am going to ask Rob next time I see him for free tickets to the next Twilight film.” paparazzi Read the rest of this entry »

Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, more commonly referred to as Edward, Bella and Jacob are about to get a huge pay day for the upcoming Twilight: Breaking Dawn shoot.
According to industry insiders, the studios is paying each of the central characters $25 million for their roles. Each actor will also receive 7.5% of the films gross, a number that could push their salaries just over the $40 million mark.
The large pay days shouldn’t come as a surprise as The Twilight Saga: Eclipse has already taken in $161 in domestic box office earnings since debuting on June 30.

Hey, if the werewolf can do it, so can the vampire! Saturday Night Live’s Lorne Michaels recently told OK! magazine that they’re still trying to get Robert Patttinson to be a guest host on SNL.
Last year, R-Pattz fans were disappointed when the SNL peeps said that they couldn’t accommodate the Twilight hunk because they’re “all locked in with the hosts for this year.”
They were also hesitant because they weren’t sure about the 23-year-old’s hosting skills. “And then he did Jimmy’s show and that went well for him,” said Lorne. Check out R-Pattz’s comedy stint and interview with Jimmy Fallon on his Late Night show last month.
Will we see R-Pattz’s hosting skills at SNL soon? “You never know,” Lorne told OK!.
Do you think he’d make a good host? Will he do a better job than Taylor Lautner?
My money’s on the werewolf. Teehee.

Madame Tussauds in London and New York unveiled waxwork models of the 23-year-old Twilight hunk last Thursday and the fans were more than excited to get their hands on him.
“R-Pattz is one of the hottest celebs on the planet,” said Liz Edwards of Madame Tussauds in London. “We are delighted to be able to give [the fans] the chance to cozy up with their idol… and judging by the reactions of the first to meet him here this morning, he is set to top our most-kissed list of celebrities very quickly.”
Robert’s wax figure reportedly cost $245,000 and took about four months to create.
His scruffy likeness looks more werewolf than vampire, don’t you think?

It’s officially out today, so Twilight fans are probably in line at the video stores or waiting by their mailbox for the New Moon DVD. Some die-hard fans aren’t exactly excited to watch the movie all over again. They’re in it for the bonus DVD, where they can view behind-the-scenes clips, deleted scenes, never-before-seen red carpet footage, and much more.
Here are some documentary clips that fans are looking forward to watching:
Too many mosquitoes. During that scene in the forest where Edward tells Bella that he will never see her again, there were so many mosquitoes. Director Chris Weitz says he certainly couldn’t show a mosquito landing on a vampire’s nose, “sucking blood from the apparently bloodless Edward,” so they filmed many, many takes.
Shirtless in the cold. Taylor Lautner’s character Jacob supposedly has a temperature of 108 degrees, so he’s not supposed to get cold. A shirtless Taylor had to act like he wasn’t freezing under the rain, but as soon as the director yells “cut!” he would run to warm up under a parka.
Stunt doubles outnumbered the main cast. They were everywhere—getting beat up by Volturi, jumping into a cliff, etc.
Read up on the other deleted scenes here, or better yet, order your own copy of the two-disc Special Edition New Moon DVD here.

When he’s done drinking blood and sweeping women off their feet, British actor Robert Pattinson wants to go back to his musical roots.
Go back? Yes, before all the Hollywood craziness kicked in, the 23-year-old was actually into music. He sings, and plays the guitar and piano.
“I want to do [an album] at the end of the year,” he said. “All my friends are recording albums and I’m very annoyed about it. I don’t know how people can act and also sing. I’ll find some time to do it.”
Die-hard Twilight fans will point out that Robert co-wrote and sang “Never Think” for the original Twilight soundtrack in 2008.
Can he carry a tune? Yes, actually! His surprisingly soulful voice has elements of John Mayer and old-school country in it. It’s too bad you can’t really understand the lyrics to his songs. The hottie tends to eat his words.
Do you think his career as a musician will pick up?

If you missed last night’s BAFTA Awards, here are my favorite highlights:

HRH Prince William was greeted with the biggest cheers from the crowd at the Royal Opera House in London. A celebrity in his own right, he signed autographs and posed for fans at the red carpet. It was also a night to remember because Prince William was announced as Lord Attenborough’s successor to the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA)’s Presidency.

To a cheering crowd of Twilight fans, Robert Pattinson arrived without Kristen Stewart. The award presenter looked dashing in his tailor-made Gucci tux.
Although she was at the same venue, Kristen stayed away from Robert Pattinson that night. The papz couldn’t snap a photograph of the couple together. She did have something to smile about; the actress took home the Orange Rising Star Award—the only prize to be voted for by the public.

David Bowie’s son Duncan Jones bagged the award for Outstanding Debut by a British Writer, Director, or Producer for his film Moon. In his emotional speech, he told the audience that it took him his whole life to realize that he wanted to be a filmmaker. “Wow, thank you so much. I didn’t actually realize how much this meant to me,” he said. “It’s taken me an awful long time to know what I wanted to do with my life. Finally, I think I’ve found what I love doing and I just want to thank everyone who helped me get there.”

War movie The Hurt Locker bagged the most awards that night—Best Film, Best Editing, Best Sound, Best Cinematography, Best Director for Kathryn Bigelow, and Best Original Screenplay. Photographed above are (L-R) Mark Boal, Kathryn Bigelow, Greg Shapiro and Nicholas Chartier.

He has a non-vampire movie coming out on March 12th. C’mon, you don’t really think he’s an actual vampire with immortality and super strength? I didn’t think so.
Heartthrob Robert Pattinson finally took a break from the Twilight saga. What a refreshing change from the melodramatic cheesiness of Stephanie Meyer! In the film Remember Me, Robert plays Tyler, a rebellious young man from New York City who has a strained relationship with his father, played by Pierce Brosnan. Like most coming-of-age flicks, Robert’s character didn’t think anyone could understand him until he meets Ally, played by Emile De Ravin. The love story begins.
The movie isn’t a huge as the Twilight series, but looking at the trailer, you’ll notice that his acting skills are already way better than his vampire role. I hear one million Twilight fanatics gasping in disbelief.

The fascinating thing about celebrities is that they’re just like you and me. They have bad breath in the morning, they possess odd quirks and fetishes, and they don’t really have magical powers like the characters they portray onscreen.
That’s why I enjoy reading cover interviews that peel off all the Hollywood layers to reveal the celebrity’s true self—or the closest possible reality.

Details’ March issue did just that with heartthrob Robert Pattinson. Writer Jenny Lumet wrote what people are referring to as a TMI-interview with the 23-year-old actor.
The Twilight actor talks about his emotional connection with his dog, his grueling 12-hour cover shoot with Details, and not to mention, his fascination with body excretions and purring elephants.
“This shoot—it’s kind of eighties nakedness, you know?” he said in the interview. “If you look at porn in, like, the eighties, there was something kind of quaint about it, quite sweet—like this little naked community. The people who made it liked it; they had respect for it—not remotely like the porn that’s available now. No community in it at all. It’s just everything, everywhere.”
The writer goes on by describing Robert in a way that keeps your attention beyond the usual fare of “he’s so hot” and “he’s so charming” that most Hollywood “it” boys showcase.
“Rob’s face is constantly busy—especially his kaleidoscopic eyes, which are continually rolling and dilating, because he is always thinking,” Jenny Lumet wrote. That was enough for me to keep my eyes glued on the article ‘til the last page.
How lucky (and fun) for her to see this side of an actor whom fans distortedly believe drinks human blood and has the strength of 100 superheroes.

So that vampire dude, Robert Pattinson, was being interviewed by none other than Ryan Seacrest, right? When Seacrest asked what’s up with Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, the actor’s publicist lost it and pulled his client out of the chair. Yeah, Pattinson left. Wow…bad choice of questions, Seacrest!

It’s official – well, as official as it can be for now, I guess. Robert Pattinson and Kristern Stewart are a couple. That’s what the director of Twilight, Catherine Hardwicke tells the world. I guess we just have to hear it from the couple, right?

The dreamiest vampire of all, Robert Pattinson recently told the press how in spite of his huge success since Twilight, the hunky 22-year-old still has no Bella in real life. He even impersonated his adoring fans by mimicking in falsetto “I’m such a huge fan!”.
In my opinion, he was a lot cuter as Cedric Diggory sans all of Edward Cullen‘s pancake makeup.
