Joe Jonas is going the way of younger brother Nick and releasing a solo album of his own.
The Joe Bro announced his solo aspirations to E! Online on Monday, but has promised he isn’t ditching the Jonas Brothers.
The 21-year-old singer says he wants to show off a new “dangerous sound” with his solo effort that will be released sometime in early 2011. He says he’ll also ditch his trademark suit and tie for a T-Shirt and leather jacket.

Joe Jonas of the Disney based pop group Jonas Brothers will guest star in an episode of 90210.
According to EW Joe will play himself on the CW's hit teen drama. Joe will be escorting Adrianna to a magazine launch party in the episode.
The role isn't Joe's first foray onto the small screen, he recently landed a role on the hit sitcom Hot In Cleveland and he has been linked to a cameo as Young Tommy on the ABC family hit Brothers & Sisters although he never actually took part in the series.
You can look for the Joe to appear this November, probably during sweeps week, but the exact date is yet to be confirmed.

I hope she's found her happy place now. Aspiring porn star starlet Kendra Wilkinson (above) just got the first of what is probably many paychecks for her first sex tape (the 2nd tape hasn't been released yet). The payout is $680K, and she's outselling Kim Kardashian's sex tape in pre-sales alone, despite her cratered, rubbery-looking face. The actual fee deal is that she gets $100K plus 50%. No word yet about exactly how much her ex-boyfriend, Kevin Frye, who set up the deal gets but his percentage increases in steps based on sales. Apparently Frye has negotiated a deal for as many as 20 tapes based on home videos, and Radar Online says that he and his wife are planning to buy a house in Arizona from their cut. Wow what an opportunistic prick enterprising guy.
Dumbass Jesse James is now saying that he wanted to get caught cheating, and that it was just him trying to sabotage his life. Ok, sure.
Female fans may love them, but I'm guessing that the Jonas Brothers aren't all that great as relationship partners. First was a recent report that Kevin and his wife Danielle Deleasa don't even sleep in the same room, but that's because he apparently snores like a freight train. (Gee, I thought trains chugged and wooo'd.) Now comes words that Joe -- who used to date country star Taylor Swift and dumped her with a phone call -- and Demi Lovato have split. Worse, apparently had his dad call Demi Lovato to break things off.
It's been a hundred years in the making. Er, well, a hundred years in the waiting, then. Mark Twain's autobiography was not to be published until 100 years after his death. Apparently he left around 5,000 unedited pages of memoirs and handwritten notes, which have been rotting in vault at UC Berkeley. The university, with Twain's estate's approval, will publish the first of three volumes in November. Um, does anyone still read books anymore? I can have this on my Apple iPad, please?

Attention, Jonas fans! The famous trio will be back on tour this summer, and Kevin Jonas couldn’t contain his excitement about the awesome production. He dished the details to People magazine this week.
“From the minute you walk into the promenade—because we're going to be playing amphitheaters during the summertime—it's going to feel like a whole other world,” he told writer Bethany Powers. “It's going to feel like you're going to camp. There's going to be things to do from the minute you walk in to the end of the night.”
Speaking of camp, fans should expect a lot of Camp Rock songs, including tracks from the upcoming Camp Rock 2, premiering on July 13 on the Disney Channel. A few more dates you need to remember are July 17, when the tour begins in Dallas, and May 15, when tickets will go on sale.

Nick has always been my favorite Jonas. Years from now, the famous Jonas Brothers will inevitably split up and do their own things.
Joe Jonas, the hot one, will predictable go through the perils of Hollywood stardom as he slowly loses his cuteness to age. Kevin Jonas, the married one, will fall prey to early retirement as he raises a good Christian family. Nick, the sensible one, will most likely succeed in launching a solo career.
Sure, Nick Jonas and the Administration wasn’t exactly a grand “sideline project,” but it was a promising attempt at being his own person. Nick strikes me as the smartest and most levelheaded Jonas, so that’s one less Jonas to worry about in the future.
Kudos to Parade magazine for picking the 17-year-old to be on their latest cover. The interview tells us what makes this Jonas stand out from the famous Disney trio. “Nick is such a serious guy that his family calls him Mr. Prez,” wrote Jeanne Wolf.
“I’ve always been quite driven,” Nick told Parade. “I take after my father. He’s a driven person. He’s also a leader. He does a great job as a mentor to all of us.”
If he keeps it up, I doubt there’s going to be any drug-related stories on this Jonas in the years to come. It’s Bieber who we should look out for.
Check out Nick’s exclusive photo shoot with Parade here or pick up your copy of their latest issue, now out in newsstands.

Are the Jonas Brothers starting a new trend in red carpet fashion? Is a pair of designer sunglasses really the cool thing to wear at award shows these days?
Nah!
It was just too sunny that Saturday afternoon, so Kevin, Nick, and Joe had to cover up in their Rayban shades. They even took the stunners off (as they tried their best not to squint) for the photographers at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.
I can feel the sales profits of Raybans increasing as I type in these words.

Since the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards caters to the younger market, you’re sure to spot a number of stylish and wardrobe-experimental dudes on the red carpet, or in this year’s case—the orange carpet.

(L-R) Musicians Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas, and Nick Jonas of The Jonas Brothers suited up in different designer labels. Kevin’s suit and shoes were by Black Fleece by Brooks Brothers; Joe wore a Hugo suit and Sperry Topsider shoes; while Nick opted for a D&G suit.

He’s only 11, but Will Smith’s son Jaden Smith is already stylin’ it in Hollywood. The Karate Kid actor posed with his co-star Jackie Chan.
It’s in the kicks, I’m tellin’ ya! Singer Justin Bieber spruces up what would have been another monochrome outfit with his neon green sneaks.

As if we haven’t had enough of the Jonas Brothers, Disney is giving viewers the second serving of Jonas Brothers: Living The Dream.
Jonas Brothers: Living The Dream 2 follows Kevin, Joe, and Nick on the road during their Jonas Brothers World Tour 2009 across Europe, with stops in France, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Belgium, Ireland and England. The new installment will premiere on March 21 (8:55 p.m., ET/PT) on the Disney Channel.

Here are Nick and Kevin in Malibu, California, where they are filming more scenes for the reality series.

Nick seems to be enjoying the sun and surf. I wonder where Joe is!

The Jonas Brothers are scoring brownie points one after the other. This time, they played pro kickball (yeah there is such a thing) at the event Kick for Change. Beneficiaries are Change for the Children Foundation and Verizon Wireless’ HopeLine program.

This is what it is like to be as popular as the Jonas Brothers – they have the dough to purchase a new Texas home costing a nice $2.8M. How nice is the area? Let’s just say that the brothers are now neighbors with a former Dallas Cowboys quarterback, a major leaguer and a former British Open champion. Wait – I think the boys chose the wrong neighborhood!
