Joey Lawrence Rips His Cornea On The Set Of “Melissa & Joey”

Joey Lawrence was injured on the set of his new show Melissa & Joey. According to PopCrunch, Lawrence, who co-stars on the show next to Melissa Joan Hart, was hit in the eye with a script, causing him to tear a cornea.
The injury occurred on Thursday morning and he’s said to be returning to work tonight. The injury happened when Melissa jab him in the left eye with her script, accidentally we should note.
Joey was immediately rushed to the hospital and he is expected to make a full recovery.

Blossom Back in Full Bloom

If you were old enough to remember the ’90s, then you wouldn’t have missed the hit TV series, Blossom. Remember Mayim Bialik, who played the title role, and her countless hats and headbands? Jenna Von Oy played her best friend Six, and Michael Stoyanov played Blossom’s older brother Anthony. And who could forget heartthrob Joey Lawrence, who made the line “Whoa!” famous?
Three of the original cast members (Mayim, Jenna, and Michael) are reuniting for a cameo in Fox’s 'Til Death. Executive producer Don Reo, who created Blossom in the early ’90s, thought it would be fun to bring the Blossom cast in for an episode of ’90s references and quips.
It’s too bad Joey is unavailable for the shoot, so an actor named Gary Shapiro (who?) will play “Fake Joey,” according to Fancast.com. One fan said it best: “What in the world could Joey Lawrence be doing that he’s so busy he can’t be available?”
