Snooki “Graces” The Cover Of ‘Rolling Stone’ Magazine (March 17th, 2011)

Remember the good ole’ days when Rolling Stone Magazine would put actual rock stars on the cover of their magazine? Well come March 17 we will have something much less awe inspiring to look at, a picture of Jersey Shore star Snooki riding a rocket.
As expected, Snooki talks about nothing interesting in the interview, mostly picking up guys, partying and her hair. Barf.
She tells the magazine:
““If I do something stupid, which is pretty much the whole time, I hate [watching it]. I just hate it…The only person I’ve had sex with on ‘Jersey Shore’ is my boyfriend,” and “The guys you see me bring home, we’re only cuddling and making out like any other person would do, but we’re on camera and the whole world’s seeing it, and it does look like I’m having sex.”
Snooki also reveals a bit of information about the editing process on the show:
“Obviously, they’re only going to put the good stuff in, and the good stuff is us drunk, so all I’m seeing is me drunk and falling down. That’s how I am when I party…”
Former ‘Jersey Shore’ Member Angelina Pivarnick Gets Engaged

While Angelina Pivarnick may no longer be a member of the highly successful Jersey Shore crew, she does have reason to celebrate, she was presented this week with a 2.5-carat diamon ring during New York Fashion Week.
Boyfriend David Kovacs popped the question while the couple were walking the red carpet, getting down on one knee in front of photographers and friends.
“The ring is platinum and 2.5 karats. She was totally surprised but looked really happy and covered her face with her hand to hide her excitement. She kept dropping the ring on the carpet because she was so nervous. But David picked her up and the two hugged and kissed.”
Jersey Shore Season 4 To Film In Italy

The cast of Jersey Shore will head to the shores of Italy for the 4th season of MTV's top rated reality TV series.
MTV on Wednesday gave the green light for the new season and the far away filming location.
As you may recall, Italians and Italian-American's once decried the show for it's stereotypes of Italian culture, so it will be interesting to see how the cast is received when returning to their ancestors homeland. Oh wait, half the cast, specifically Snooki and J-WOWW aren't actually Italian.
In a press release MTV said of the new season:

Angelina Pivarnick sounded pretty confident about her decision to leave Jersey Shore but with her hopes riding on a yet to be realized TNA Wrestling contract and a failed hip hop career it looks like she's opening up about her regrets of leaving the show.
Pivarnick told RumorFix.com:
“I would be a liar if I told you I didn’t miss it, because I actually do. I miss the fact that I was part of such a big TV show.”
Angelina had walked about the show twice before ending her contract with MTV last year. She said at the time that the show had spiraled her into depression. Specifically Pivarnick says her cast mates brought on her depression through their constant torment.

Hearing that Pauly D of Jersey Shore just spent $480 on four pairs of Nike’s might not sound so bad, but when you realize he was adding those shoes to his arsenal of 350 pairs, it’s totally insane.
Spotted this weekend at Sportie L.A. by TMZ Pauly D was purchasing new Nike’s to add to his crazy big shoe collection which is quickly inching closer to 400 pairs.
Pauly D, First ‘Jersey Shore’ Member To Get Reality Show Spinoff

Paul “DJ Pauly D” DelVecchio, one of the stars of the hit MTV series “Jersey Shore” will be the first cast member to get his own spinoff reality TV show.
MTV’s Executive Vice-President of Programming and Head of Production Chris Linn announced the networks choice for the spinoff on Wednesday.
Linn said in a statement:
“At the heart of Jersey Shore is the unique and genuine cast and Pauly D. truly embodies both qualities.”
Pauly D shot a pilot for the show in September and network execs were pleased with the results, stating:
“He’s distinguished himself onscreen as the fun-loving, well-coiffed and dependable guy you can’t help but want to hang out with.”
Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino Watches As Book Flops

Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino released his first book last month and it’s been a huge flop. Titled “Here the Situation: A Guide to Creeping on Chicks, Avoiding Grenades and Getting in Your GTL” the book has managed to sell just 4,000 copies in one month.
Publishers Weekly Jim Milliot told Life & Style that:
“For a high-profile author, 4,000 copies it pretty bad,” adding, “It’s definitely a disappointment to the publishing company which will probably lose money on the deal.”
Despite the huge fail of the book, Sorrentino is still scheduled to write one more book under the Gotham publishing name.
Also in stores for 2011, books by Snooki, J-Woww and Pauly D, hopefully followed by the cancellation of Jersey Shore.
Snooki Finishes Community Service While Working At Police Station

Personally I wouldn’t let Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi near any type of building with guns, but considering the people with the guns are police officers I’ll let this one slide. According to TMZ, Snooki finished her community service stemming from her recent public intoxication incident by helping clean up crime.
Okay so actually she was just cleaning up the place where crime goes to be punished. Snooki helped file paperwork, clean offices and vacuum along with other clerical work at the Seasside Heights police station.
After finishing her duties she had completed enough community service to wipe the slate clean of her dirty deeds…at least for now!
Snooki Set To Star In Jersey Shore Spinoff

Jersey Shore’s most lovable loser Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi is working on a new MTV spin-off of the popular reality TV series. The new show will be called Snookin’ For Love.
The announcement comes after Snooki turned down a public marriage proposal by an ex-boyfriend. The show will follow Snooki as she attempts to find love and is currently in development.

Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi is jumping from the TV screen to the written page, announcing plans to write and release her first book.
The book according to PEOPLE is currently titled A Shore Thing and will be released by book publisher Simon & Schuster.
Back in February Polizzi joked about a book on her Twitter account:
I have mind blowing news! I am officially reading my first bo! Lmao! Nicholas Sparks “dear John!” … I’m proud of myself.”

Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi of Jersey Shore could have died this past may. According to RadarOnline.com she was rushed to the hospital with a serious case of alcohol poisoning.
According to reports, the wild night of drinking was so out of hand that MTV decided to cut the footage from the show’s second season and that’s saying quite a bit considering the type of partying they’ve aired on various shows, including Jersey Shore in the past.

Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, star of the hit MTV reality TV series Jersey Shore has revealed in the Sept. 27 edition of OK! Magazine that she has battled an eating disorder for much of her life.
According to the reality TV star, her disorder reached a dangerous peak when she became very thin in high school while battling a mixture of bulimia and anorexia that took her body weight to just 80 pounds.
Snooki says of her disorder at the time:
“I would go into the nurse’s office every day and I would weigh myself. When [the school nurse] realized that I hit 80lbs she was like ‘This isn’t good.’”
GQ Magazine Makeover For Men Of ‘Jersey Shore’ [Pics]

The men of Jersey Shore each carry their own signature style, heck Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino has even turned that style into a fashion business, but when GQ Magazine came calling they convinced the boys to give up their styles for a day with a front cover and photo spread makeover.
The issue featured Pauly with a new hairstyle and offers some “words of advice” from the guys…barf. Here’s some of that “advice.”
Vinny: “I used to be a trainer, and 90 percent of the people who use trainers are women and old people. But it can be good—I used to train other trainers.”
DJ Pauly D: “It was my birthday this weekend, and these girls put cake on my body and ate it off. One girl said, “You have the nicest chest I ever ate cake off.” I got pictures to prove it. I’ll send ‘em to you.”

US Patent And Trademark Office Denies “The Situation” Trademark Request

Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino may be a household name among reality TV fans and sure he’s one of the highest paid reality TV stars of all time, with earnings expected to top $5 million by the end of 2010, but apparently his “The Situation” nickname mixed with his fame wasn’t enough for him to be granted a trademark on his popular name.
The US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) rejected Mike’s request for “The Situation” name. According to TheSmokingGun.com Sorrentino hoped to trademark the name and then release a T-Shirt line.
According to USPTO, a trademark that was too similar to his own was issued to a Memphis-based clothing and shoe line in 2009.

What does being an annoying Guido get you for your troubles? If your “The Situation” from MTV’s hit show Jersey Shore it gets you a Bentley.
Okay, so it gets you a used 2008 Bentley coupe, not a newer model, but the $100,000 price tag is still an impressive amount of money to drop on a vehicle when you’re only making $40,000 an episode on a show that’s sure to lose it’s appeal soon enough.
Entire Cast Of Jersey Shore Charged With Assault

Here’s one you won’t hear everyday, the entire cast of MTV’s hit reality series Jersey Shore are being taken to court over a claim by a woman that she was assaulted by the show’s security guards.
Among those named in the case? Snooki, The Situation, JWOWW and all the other mainstay characters on the show.
Also named in the lawsuits are the staff at 495 Productions, MTV and MTV’s parent company Viacom.
New Jersey Residents Hate Jersey Shore [Survey]

New Jersey has cornered the market on trashy television, they have Jerseylicious, The Real Housewives of New Jersey and of course the one that started the entire New Jersey fad, Jersey Shore. While those shows have millions of viewers, there are people who don’t like the view they cast on New Jersey, specifically people living in the state.
I new poll released by Quinnipac University found that 51% of New Jersey residents have a negative view of the MTVr reality hit Jersey Shore. One third of those interviewed blamed the casts New York upbringing for their bad behavior and that thought is echoed by New Jersey Governor Chris Christie who says the show relied on:
“bunch of people from New York” to give New Jersey a bad rap.
Chris is correct in that statment, with only one of Jersey Shore’s eight series regulars, Sammi Sweetheart, actually from the Garden state.

Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino of Jersey Shore fame will be releasing a workout DVD this winter.
Sorrentino has already announced a clothing line, released a rap single (it’s awful in-case your curious) and is making big bucks for being a talentless twit.
The DVD as should be expected focuses on turning your abs into a 6 or even an 8 pack, hopefully it involves Sorrentino talking as little as possible.
Snooki Court Date Is Set

Jersey Shore’s very own Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi has a court date for her recent disorderly conduct arrest, Snooki will appear before the judge on Friday, August 30th.
Snooki was arrested this week at The Shore an amusement park where she became pretty much too drunk to function. Police arrested Snooki and carried her away in handcuffs.
While Snooki won’t face any jail time, her charge could range from $250 to $1,000.
Snooki will appear in court at the Seaside Heights Municipal Court on Aug. 18 @ 9 AM.
