Fergie Named Billboard Magazine’s 2010 Woman Of The Year

It’s been a “Fergalicious” year for Fergie and now she can add the title of Billboard Magazine’s 2010 Woman of the Year.

A ceremony for Fergie will take place in New York City on December 23, at which time she’ll join such notables as Beyonce and Reba McEntire.

According to PopCrunch:

The Woman of Year prize pays tribute to a trailblazing female artist and her accomplishments in the industry. Fergie’s lone solo album — 2006’s The Dutchess — went multiplatinum. Additionally, her last BEP disc, The E.N.D., topped the charts and was one of the best-selling discs of 2009.

Fergie Ready To Leave Black Eyed Peas?

Fergie has taken the solo route in the past, but that "solo" title may soon be permanent with reports coming in that she plans to leave the Black Eyed Peas for good.

According to RadarOnline Fergie has been in a growing feud with band founder Will.i.Am and she's also planning to have her first child with husband Josh Duhamel. They also state that Fergie is refusing to commit to a 2011 tour.

Fergie Hooking To Pay The Bills?

Take this one with a grain of salt, but The Globe is reporting that Fergie was doing more than just selling access to Prince Andrew, she was selling her body to rich tycoons!

It's hard to separate fact from fiction given the strange events that have surrounded the Fergie fiasco, but given the ease at which she laid down the cost for a visit with her ex-husband, an action caught on tape, it wouldn't surprise me to find out that she was going one step further and seducing rich tycoon's.

According to the Globe she received at least $450,000 from two oil tycoons. Some sources call it "Escorting" but really it's just "hooking for rich people" and her response should be just as amusing to watch as her most recent statements against her less damning actions of selling access to her husband.

Fergie Celebrates Elle Cover

At 35, she’s still kicking it. Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie landed on the May 2010 cover of Elle magazine. I love the sexy belted Burberry dress she wore, but I loved her interview more.

She talked about dealing with critics and haters and how she handles her relationship with hottie Josh Duhamel. She even admitted how she went through the cheating stage back when she was in high school. “I’m not talking about going all the way—I wasn’t doing that in high school!” she revealed. “But I’d have boyfriends, and then spring break would come around and I’d be a little bit naughty.”

They even threw a party in her honor. “Avon and Elle Magazine Celebrate May Issue with Fergie” was held at the Crosby Street Hotel in New York City on April 9.

Fergie’s futuristic costume made the rest of the Black Eyed Peas look like her minions. The group performed for a sold-out crowd at the Madison Square Garden last Wednesday.

“Well hello lovers,” an emotional Fergie said to the audience. “It’s been my dream to fill Madison Square Garden. Thank you all so much for coming!” I wonder if she did the robot dance.

After the smashing concert, the BEP headed out to the after-party at The Bacardi VIP Room at M2 Lounge, where they performed again at the DJ booth, reports Just Jared. “I got a feeling…”

Last night’s gathering of entertainers brought out a new trend for red-carpet dressing. Perhaps it’s the 2010 bug where fashionistas are out to challenge the conventional “glam-glam-glam” mantra. Here are my top 10 picks for the Grammy’s best dressed, in no particular order.

As Fergie posed with the rest of the Black Eyed Peas, her cobalt blue Emilio Pucci mini was simply Fergilious.

Miley Cyrus was definitely ready to “Party In The USA” with her teal Hervé Léger by Max Azria dress.

Carrie Underwood sure had a penchant for straps that night. Her Edition by Georges Chakra gown looked great, especially when she received her Best Country Collaboration award.

Before the show, Katy Perry tweeted: “[sic] I’m excited 4 today, all the performances r going to be fab & beauty is gonna be on point! Today I’m channeling Indian Betty Paige princess!” It looks like her Zac Posen dress did the job.

Multi-winner Taylor Swift glittered, literally, with her off-shoulder KaufmanFranco gown.

Sleeves are back on the red carpet style radar. Beyonce, who got the most nods at the Grammys, stood out with her detailed fishtail gown.

Rihanna brushed off rumors that she was blacklisted from the Grammys. Her Elie Saab Haute Couture gown made the feathered collar a must-have fashion detail.

Jennifer Nettles of The Sugarland gets a little help from Posh Spice with this Victoria Beckham cutout dress.

Hot mama Heidi Klum’s nude Emilio Pucci minidress stood out, thanks to the stylish embellishments.

Newbie singer Chantel “Chani” Christie’s bodice minidress spelled hot.

It’s the Year of the Tiger, according to Chinese astrology. “Rawr,” I say! We spied on Hollywood’s party animals to see how they unleashed their inner tigers (and tigresses) on New Year’s Eve.

Lady GaGa performed at the Fontainbleau Hotel in Miami Beach, Florida. It wasn’t just her new ‘do and getup that spelled extravagant; she reportedly checked in a $15,000-a-night penthouse.

Kim Kardashian at a Pre-New Year’s Eve Party at Eve Nightclub, Las Vegas.

Pam Anderson was escorted by some interesting creatures at the Gridlock 2010 New Year’s Eve bash at Paramount Studios, Hollywood.

Hot mommies Christina Aguilera and Nicole Richie left the little ones at home to party in Vegas. Nicole hosted the LAVO party with beau Joel Madden, while Christina hosted and performed at TAO.

Fergie (right) performed with the Black Eyed Peas at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. It was one of the many gigs they had for the New Year weekend.

Mariah Carey got her Mimi on at Madison Square Garden in New York, while hubby Nick Cannon played deejay offstage.

She may have gotten the crowd going at Times Square, but I’d stay away from the skintight suit if I were J.Lo.

The couple has had their share of intrigue lately, but they went out in full force this weekend, showing everyone that despite the stripper issue, they are doing quite well. TMZ caught them on cam, and seems to me that they look happy. Then again, appearances can deceive.
