Emily Blunt Marries John Krasinski

John Krasinski of The Office has married British actress Emily Blunt in a ceremony which took place on July 10th just off the coast of Italy.

John’s rep released the following statement on Saturday:

“We can confirm that John and Emily were married on Saturday in a private ceremony.”

Who’s The New Captain America?

The casting hat is already filled with names and the producers have yet to reveal which celebs have made the cut. The remake of the 1990 classic is slated for 2011, so fans cannot wait to see the new cast of Captain America.

Channing Tatum

For lead role Steve Rogers/Captain America, they’re reportedly looking at Channing Tatum (Dear John), Wilson Blethel (The Young and the Restless), Mike Vogel (She’s Out of My League), Chris Evans (Fantastic Four), and Garrett Hedlund (Tron Legacy).

Emily Blunt

For leading lady Peggy Carter, they’ve approached Keira Knightley (Pirates of the Caribbean), Emily Blunt (The Wolfman), and Alice Eve (Crossing Over).

Hugo Weaving

For the villain Red Skull, director Joe Johnston has approached Hugo Weaving (The Wolfman).

John Krasinski of The Office and Emily Blunt of The Devil Wears Prada fame are officially engaged. They have been dating since November of last year but have not really been vocal about their relationship. The recent news was actually announced by a rep for the couple. Congratulations, then!
