The newest season of Britain’s Got Talent hasn’t even hit the airwaves yet and it’s being reported that new show judge David Hasselhoff is already acting like a super diva.
A production insider told The Daily Star:
“The Hoff has already got a huge list of demands and the auditions don’t even start until this week. He’s demanded two dressing rooms, even though the other judges will only get one each,” adding. “All the production staff are joking, saying it’s like Mariah Carey’s coming to town.”

Comedy Central executives must be patting themselves on the back this week after their special The Roast of David Hasselhoff premiered to huge numbers.
The Sunday night show took the top spot among 18-49 year old viewers, the first time the network has managed that feat since April 2009.
The show included such noteworthy guests at Hulk Hogan, George Hamilton and Pamela Anderson, along with Roast mainstays such as Lisa Lampanelli.
Here’s a clip of Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane making fun of The Hoff using the voice of Family Guy star Stewie:
Christina Aguilera has postponed her 2010 summer tour until 2011, citing a busy schedule promoting her new album Bionic and the film Burlesque. Huffington Post says it’s because her new single tanked. Well so what. She pulls the fewest antics of stars her age and boy can she wear clothes. Or as evidenced above and below. not wear them.
David Hasselhoff is said to have been hospitalized in LA this past weekend, possibly for another drinking binge — something that’s already happened to him several times in the past few years. It makes me wonder if the first thing PR people teach actors is how to deny everything.
Bret Michaels, who has been in hospital at least three times this year, won Donald Trump’s Celebrity Apprentice reality show and says in a Facebook note that while he’s not 100% yet, he has “every intention of trying to continue the tour starting Friday in Biloxi.” On the other hand, he skipped the Celebrity Apprentice afterparty.
Brittany Murphy’s widower, writer/ director/ producer Simon Monjack, was due for heart bypass surgery, which he kept putting off. Unfortunately, he put it off for too long, passing away last Sunday night of a heart attack at 39. Brittany was another entertainer who went to soon, dying of cardiac arrest in Simon’s home in December. She was laid to rest on Christmas Eve. Her mother Sharon, who lived with the couple, was the unfortunate person who found discovered Brittany and Simon unconcious in both situations.
Slipknot bassist Paul Gray passed away on Monday at 38. No cause of death has been announced yet. The band were known for their ‘dark metal’ sound and for wearing masks.
Miley Cyrus says that she’s not going to go to college right now. I guess if you’re already a billionaire at 17, going to college doesn’t seem like a worthwhile prospect. On the other hand, she says that her grandma went back to college at 62. Ok, good luck with that plan then.
Iran has freed award-winning Iranian filmmaker Jafar Panahi on about $200K in bail. Panahi, who was jailed two months ago on poorly specified charges, went on a hunger strike. At least one social media campaign, on Facebook, was launched in hopes of having him released.
Some celebrities have schools or foundations named after them, but if you’re as cool as David Hasselhoff you get a hot dog sandwich named after you. Pink’s Hot Dog Stand paid tribute to the 57-year-old by naming a snack after him.

The Hoff Dog is a mountain of hot frank, pastrami, sauerkraut, and Bavarian mustard. It was launched on March 20 at Pink’s Los Angeles, a day after the Knight Rider Festival in Las Vegas.
If you’re not too keen on the Hoff Dog, you can try out the other celebrity-inspired hotdogs at Pink’s, such as the Martha Stewart Dog (10″ stretch dog, relish, onions, bacon, chopped tomatoes, sauerkraut, and sour cream) and the Ozzy Spicy Dog (Spicy Polish dog, Nacho cheese, American cheese, grilled onions, guacamole, and chopped tomatoes).
David Hasselhoff, one of the three judges of America’s Got Talent, is leaving the show. How ironic, since he was the only American in the panel. His co-judges Sharon Osbourne and Piers Morgan are both British.
The 57-year-old Baywatch actor announced yesterday that he is leaving the NBC reality show to work on his own TV show. “I am proud that I was part of making America’s Got Talent, the No. 1 rated show for the past four summers,” David told People. “It’s been a rewarding experience and now I’m thrilled to be able to follow my dream to do my own TV show, which will be announced very shortly.”
NBC has been looking for a new judge to fill the empty slot since the fifth season of America’s Got Talent began open calls last October.
Who do you think should take The Hoff’s spot?
That’s what they all say.
Remember the report on The Hoff’s daughter calling her mom to tell her that her dad was drinking way too much? Well, according to Access Hollywood, a source claims that it was a case of ear infection, and not excess drinking. So how did we get from inebriation to infection?
It’s not that serious, but serious enough for The Hoff’s 17-year-old daughter to call her mom Pamela. She told her mom that daddy was drinking way too much and one of Pam’s friends called 911. David Hasselhoff was then taken to the hospital. He was supposed to be released Sunday night, but nothing has been confirmed yet. Good parenting model, huh?
