As Oscars night 2011 drew to a close a bit of controversy arose after it was pointed out that three well known Hollywood talents were left off the shows “In Memoriam” montag which highlights top Hollywood mainstays who passed since the last Academy Awards show.
Last year Farrah Fawcett was left off the montage and this year Corey Haim, who died of an accidental drug overdose on March 10, 2010 was not seen, just as he was left off the SAG Awards’ own In Memoriam.
Also missing was Peter Graves who died of a heart attack just four days after Haims and All In The Family’s Betty Garrett who passed earlier this month on February 12, 2011.

According to the LA County coroner, Corey Haim didn't die from drugs but from natural causes. However, those "natural" causes amount to three possible causes of death: lung damage, pneumonia, and plaque build up on the heart muscle. His mother, who has been suffering from cancer, witnessed her son's collapse.
Haim had been set to appear in a couple of movies for 2010 including Decisions and New Terminal Hotel (video), which are either completed or in post-production. Haim is probably best known for his role as Sam in the 1987 vampire flick The Lost Boys, which also starred another Corey, Corey Feldman -- and not to mention Kiefer Sutherland (whose 24 series is about to end), Jason Patric (who is currently an ultra-villain in the gritty film adaptation of the graphic novel The Losers) and others. The two Coreys also had their own reality show, The Two Coreys, that lasted roughly 19 episodes from 2007-8. A "best scenes" clip from The Lost Boys is below.

Following Corey Haim’s tragic death on Wednesday, TMZ has obtained a video clip of the last movie he filmed, Decisions, which has yet to be released. In the movie, Corey plays a corrupt cop who gets involved in the lives of six troubled kids.
The former ’80s teen heartthrob, 38, was with his mother in their apartment early Wednesday when he complained of dizziness and fell to his knees in his bedroom. When he became unresponsive, his mother Judy dialed 911 and Corey was rushed to Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, California, where he was pronounced dead at 2:15 a.m.
The public is speculating that his death has something to do with drug overdose, but an autopsy and toxicology tests have yet to be done.
