In her new movie Bad Teacher Cameron Diaz plays a pot smoking teacher and apparently the “pot smoking” part isn’t too far from the truth.
During her recent appearance on Lopez Tonight the actress admitted that not only did she buy pot in high school, but that she purchased that marijuana from fellow classmate Snoop Dogg.
Diaz told George Lopez:
“We went to high school together, he was a year older than me. He was very tall and skinny and wore lots of ponytails in his hair and I’m pretty sure I got weed from him. I had to have!”
Here’s the interview:

Today's high profile Hollywood couple breakup is brought to us my Cameron Diaz and Alex Rodriguez. The couple according to Life & Style Magazine have called it quits after seven months off the market.
The reason for the split was kept pretty simplistic according to the magazine:
“He just doesn’t like her anymore. That’s honestly the reason they split."

There aren't lot of new films opening this week, possibly because it's hard to compete with blockbusters like Iron Man 2, Robin Hood, and others. IMDB lists four new relases, and get more details from their profile pages, which I've linked to from each movie's title.
Still in theaters are recent releases Iron Man 2, Robin Hood, Letters to Juliet, Just Wright, How to Train Your Dragon (animated), A Nightmare on Elm Street, Date Night, The Backup Plan, Furry Vengeance, Clash of the Titans, and others.
Enjoy your movie-watching weekend.

…for a movie, that is. The former flames are working on their first project ever since they split up in 2007.
According to IMDB, Bad Teacher is a comedy about a junior high teacher (played by Cameron) who, after being dumped by her sugar daddy, begins to woo a naïve colleague (played by Justin)—a move that pits her against a well-loved teacher. |
Much hype surrounds the reunion between the two former lovers and all eyes will be on how Justin and Cameron will interact and potentially reignite romantic flames while filming. The two seriously dated for four years, and Justin is now with Jessica Biel.
Shooting for the movie began last weekend in LA, and the two exes seem very professional and in good spirits. Also on set is comedian Jason Segel, and so far the only body language we see between Timbo and Cameron spells “hard work.”

The stars usually save their best threads for the biggest awards show of the year—The Academy Awards. See which women stood out in the Oscar 2010 red carpet.
Spring is coming! Rachel McAdams’ pastel-patterned Elie Saab Haute couture gown took the attention away from the dark, monochrome hues of the lingering Winter season.

The 40-year-old singer/actress still has her famous curves. J.Lo flaunted them in this Armani Privé gown with a dramatic train, Ferragamo pumps, and Cartier diamonds.

I’m not usually a fan of celebs who wear black in the red carpet, because it’s such a safe, cliché choice, but Carey Mulligan made me do a 360 with her black Swarovski-encrusted Prada.

It’s great to see actresses stay away from solid-hued dresses for change. Maggie Gyllenhaal, who was nominated for Best Supporting Actress, wore a brushstroke-print Dries Van Noten gown accessorized with vintage Fred Leighton jewels.

Cameron Diaz opted for old Hollywood glamour in this Oscar de la Renta gown matched with Cartier jewels.

Presenter Kristen Stewart surprised red carpet critics with her feminine custom-made dress. This Monique Lhuillier navy trumpet gown was a refreshing change from Kristen’s usually boyish/rocker outfits.

Ruffled would be an understatement for Vera Formiga’s choice of gown. The Best Supporting Actress nominee’s Marchesa gown stood out from the crowd.

Diane Kruger was Chanel’s muse that night. Her ruffled Chanel Haute Couture Collection gown accessorized with Chanel jewelry gave her look a vintage vibe.

I loved Best Supporting Actress nominee Anna Kendrick’s flow-y Elie Saabe Couture gown. She accessorized well with her Judith Leiber clutch and Kwiat diamonds.
Elizabeth Banks’ glamorous gown was no gray area. Her sparkling Fred Leighton jewelry looked great with her ruffled Versace number.
Demi Moore’s fashion choices are usually hit-or-miss. What a relief to see that this night was a hit. Her Atelier Versace gown flaunted her fab figure.

I’ve been ecstatically waiting to see Steve Carell and Tina Fey’s Date Night, so when I saw the trailer of Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz’s Knight And Day, I couldn’t help but give an unimpressed smirk.
Knight And Day is coming out on July 2…
…while Date Night is coming out on April 9.
Another spy movie spoof? While Tom Cruise is the king of me-against-the-world action flicks, the tandem of Steve Carell and Tina Fey will undoubtedly reign the comedy department. And since both spy movies are aiming for the funnies, my money’s on Date Night.
