The Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards is coming back on April 2 and Jack Black is returning to host the show once again.
The show honor’s the favorite entertainment of kids, including Film, TV, Music and Sports.
According to Marjorie Cohn, Nick’s President of Original Programming and Development:
“Jack Black is the perfect mix of comedy, rock and star-power that will set the tone for an amazing show.”
Jack Black previously hosted the show in 2006 and then again in 2008, he will be replacing Kevin James who hosted the show in 2011.
The awards ceremony will be held at the Southern California Galen Center.
What do you think about Jack Black returning to the Nickelodeon stage?

It’s that annual awards show where it’s okay to burp, throw slime, and get icky while presenting blimps to Hollywood’s top celebrities. Here are my favorite moments of this year’s Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards held at UCLA’s Pauley Pavilion on Saturday in LA.
Sibling rivalry. Twins Dylan and Cole Sprouse of The Suite Life On Deck were pitted against each other in the Favorite TV Actor category, but Dylan won and took home the famous blimp trophy, beating another set of brothers—Nick and Joe Jonas of the show Jonas.
Katy Perry—best in slime! After changing into a bright yellow floral dress and a blue wig on stage, the singer presented the favorite movie actress award along with Jonah Hill. When she opened the box that held the envelope, Nickelodeon’s traditional bright green slime hosed Katy down. How ironic that she tweeted this just moments before the show: “Hope I don’t get none of that disgusting booger slime on me @Kids Choice Awards 2night… I’ll slap the ho that ruins my weave, nails, face!” Check out a photo documentary of the slimy moment here.

The robot dance is in! Although her red carpet outfit was a disaster, Rihanna’s “Rude Boy” performance did not disappoint. It must be her new stage performance “thing”—a giant dancing robot that’s been tagging along with the singer in her shows.

Since the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards caters to the younger market, you’re sure to spot a number of stylish and wardrobe-experimental dudes on the red carpet, or in this year’s case—the orange carpet.

(L-R) Musicians Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas, and Nick Jonas of The Jonas Brothers suited up in different designer labels. Kevin’s suit and shoes were by Black Fleece by Brooks Brothers; Joe wore a Hugo suit and Sperry Topsider shoes; while Nick opted for a D&G suit.

He’s only 11, but Will Smith’s son Jaden Smith is already stylin’ it in Hollywood. The Karate Kid actor posed with his co-star Jackie Chan.
It’s in the kicks, I’m tellin’ ya! Singer Justin Bieber spruces up what would have been another monochrome outfit with his neon green sneaks.

The Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards just wrapped up this weekend, and it was a battle between the grownups and teens for the best dressed votes. See which age group won.

Selena Gomez not only took home the Favorite TV Actress award for Wizards of Waverly Place, she also stole the red carpet spotlight with her Christian Cota dress and Sergio Rossi gladiator shoes.

Twilight’s Nikki Reed was a breath of fresh air in her Cynthia Steffe dress.

Although this look may be a little too grown up on the 16-year-old, Miranda Cosgrove’s Christian Siriano dress got my nod. Her show iCarly was also named Favorite TV Show that night.

The great thing about kids and teens is that they can wear candy-colored outfits. True Jackson, VP’s Keke Palmer pulled off this Adam dress matched with Christian Louboutin peep-toes.

Demi Lovato’s Faith Connexion LBD was spruced up with silver detail, Renee Caovilla shoes, and a Vita cocktail ring.

It’s Dora The Explorer’s 10th Anniversary and she celebrated with the help of fellow Latina celebrity, Salma Hayek. At the Nickelodeon Animation Studio in Burbank yesterday, Nickelodeon launched a unique pro-social campaign titled “Beyond the Backpack,” which champions overall school readiness for preschoolers.
“We are proud to be partnering with Salma Hayek Pinault, The Children’s Defense Fund, and National PTA in this effort, and are thrilled that they are still many, many more adventures yet ahead for Dora to continue to explore with our audiences around the world,” said Cyma Zarghami, President of Nickelodeon, MTVN Kids, and Family Group.
The 43-year-old actress read some Dora adventures to the kids at the event, after which a series of other fun activities were held, such as a fundraising auction of limited-edition Dora backpacks, with designs by Salma and other celebrities.
