After a seven-year marriage to Witherspoon in which they had two children, 7-year-old Ava & 3-year-old Deacon, Phillippe reveals his pain about the split.  “It’s devastating,” Phiippe tells DeGeneres.

“But the bottom line is the focus is on the children and they’re doing amazingly well and that is really all that matters.”

Phillippe goes on to reveal that he has been working non-stop since the breakup & has focused on his favorite woman in his life, daughter Ava.

“As difficult as it is, my daughter has been the inspiration — she has, my 7 year old daughter is Ava yeah, she is beyond, in terms of like conscientiousness and maturity, and she has gotten me thru this…I know it sounds pathetic, I’m a 32-year-old guy, but my 7-year-old daughter is getting me thru the toughest time in my life, and that’s beautiful too.”

OK, I don’t mean to be on the negative side of things, but does anyone actually beleive that smelly load of crap?  As I recall, Ryan kinda dipped his “ice cream” cone in a lot of “flavors” during his seven-year marriage to Reese.  I’m just not buying the new poor me, Ryan.  I don’t think he’s ever really had a remorseful attitude about the split.  Maybe he is a decent actor afterall…..
