That picture of them back in the day is so old. Back in 2000, I thought Christina Aguilera would be the one to fall off the handle….not tone down her provocativeness, dress old hollywood, & settledown in a low profile marriage!

well, i must say that getting clean and sober and STAYING that way is VERY hard. i have been through that a few times myself. my father is a recovering alcoholic/addict for 18yrs now. i used to go to alateen and tell myself i would never be like that. WHAT A LIE!!! i had my 1st child at 20. i didn’t want to settle down. wanted to keep partying, and do what i wanted. had another child at 25, and i still messed up. ALOT! i had dcf in my life, and court orders to go to rehab, parenting, and anger management. you would think that being told i could lose my parental rights would straighten me up, WRONG! i “managed” to stay clean and sober for 1 yr. i relapsed june 2007. now i’m losing my rights.
the reason for this comment is to tell britany she has to want it for her! nothing or no one will get her sober. YOU HAVE TO WANT IT FOR YOURSELF! i’ve done it, i know. it is hard work, but if you stick to it and do it for YOU….then you’ll have a life beyond your wildest dreams! it’s not about what you have or don’t have. it’s about living and enjoying life free from alcohol and drugs! anyone can do it! I know britney can do it!

Good comments Danielle! If this business of living makes any sense at all, it’s got to be tied into some still unknown way that reincarnation is a fact. In that case, those who look down on others for “not being able to measure up,” may well have to spend a lifetime with similar cravings in the future in order to learn the wisdom of compassion.
