David Hasselhoff is set to star in the film as well, though probably not as his original muscle-bound character Mitch. 

Anderson wildly approves of Simpson filling her sexy shoes & invites Will Ferrell to the plate, “Oh, my goodness, she sure could (fill my shoes).  Will Ferrell should play David Hasselhoff.  That would be hot.”

There are rumors that Pamela Anderson has quite the campy humor.  Mayhaps this was one fine example?  Will Ferrell?  Sexy?  What the hell?  Yes, I do believe we are being witness to the mysterious and esoteric humor.
