Christina Applegate is engaged to her boyfriend of two years, Martyn LeNoble. The couple got engaged on Valentines Day 2010 but kept it under wraps until now.

A rep confirmed Applegate and LeNoble’s engagement to Access Hollywood:

“Actress Christina Applegate and musician Martyn Lenoble are engaged. The couple, who have been dating for two years, got engaged on February 14, 2010. This will be the second marriage for both. There is no set date for the wedding at this time.”

Actress Christina Applegate is probably best known as child star Kelly Bundy from the hit TV show Married With Children.

Martyn LeNoble was born in the Netherlands. He’s a musician and founding member of the alternative rock band Porno for Pyros.

This will be the second marriage for both Christina and Martyn.

Headlines like “Luis Miguel Dead at 40” and “Luis Miguel Hospitalized For Cocaine Rehab” have been spreading across the web like wildfire over the past few hours, but the rumors aren’t true.

As far as Celebrific can tell, Luis Miguel is not dead. He’s alive and ‘may’ have been admitted to Cedar Sinai hospital in Los Angeles for minor complications after undergoing a plastic surgery procedure, according to a statement issued earlier the Luis Miguel Official website.

Nearly every weekend a celebrity death rumor surfaces online and the stories are so believable that sometimes even major news outlets pick them up, but they’re usually a hoax.

For those of you who don’t know, Luis Miguel is a 40 year old Mexican singer and performer who has been dubbed the Latin American Frank Sinatra.

Danny Glover was arrested earlier today at a protest outside the offices of Sodexo, Inc. in Gaithersburg, Maryland.

According to TMZ:

… where protesters were rallying against the business practices of the food management giant.

He was given a citation and later released, telling cameras, “We’re moving to make some real positive changes.”

The arrests were part of a nationwide protest against the company in the US by the Service Employees International Union (SEIU). The protests are being held in response to what union reps say has been a brutal backlash against Sodexo employees who are trying to unionize.

The crowd cheered as Danny Glover and 11 other people, including SEIU President Andrew Stern, who announced he will be stepping down from his post after 14 years earlier this week, were arrested and led away in handcuffs.

Footballer Ted Ginn Jr., former Miami Dolphins first round pick has been traded to the San Francisco 49ers for a 5th round pick in the 2010 NFL Draft.

According to FOXsports.com:

Miami has traded former first-round pick Ted Ginn Jr. to San Francisco, FOXSports.com has learned. With the addition of Ginn, the 49ers now have two former top-10 picks among their receivers. Michael Crabtree was drafted No. 10 last year.

Ginn, a wide receiver had been having a lackluster season in 2009, only catching two balls in his first game, but appeared to be making a comeback in September catching a career high 11 balls for 108 yards. But later in the game he dropped two potential touchdown passes in the final minutes. The fumbles garnered much criticism and he struggled for the remainder of the season.

Kim Kardashian nude photos? Try saying that in the presence of, well, just about any straight guy on the planet and watch what happens.

Sure, there have been nude photos of Kim Kardashian posted online before, mainly screenshots of an alleged intimate video of her and former beau Reggie Bush, but this time it appears the shapely reality show star posed for the camera with every intention of having the pics made public.

Natalie Nicole Mejia, member of the pop group Girlicious, pleaded not guilty in a Los Angeles courtroom on Thursday to possession of cocaine with intent to sell.

Police pulled over a Ford Mustang in Glendale, California for speeding on March 9th. After it was discovered that the driver of the vehicle, 28 year old Peter Asencio, was driving with a suspended license, police performed a search. Mejia, who was a passenger in the car was found to have several bags of cocaine in her bag.

Of course, she told police that the drugs weren’t hers and that she had no idea how they got into her bag.

She was arrested at the scene and later released on $30,000 bail. A forensics investigation and interviews are still taking place to determine if the driver placed the drugs in her bag without her knowledge, or if she’s lying.

Natalie Nicole Mejia was a contestant on the reality show, The Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious, and won a spot as part of the group.

Drug charges and seedy friends. Natalie seems to be adjusting well to being a pop celebrity. Celebrific will have to keep a close eye on her from now on.

She’s 23; she’s French; and this is going to be her first American movie. Astrid Berges-Frisbey was cast by Disney to play Syrena in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. Her character is a beautiful young mermaid who is the love interest of Captain Jack Sparrow, played by Johnny Depp.

A popular young actress in France, Astrid has appeared in a number of French TV and film titles, including Divine Émilie, Un Barrage Contre Le Pacifique, and La Première Ètoile.

Pirates of the Caribbean 4 will begin filming in June in three major locations—Hawaii, Great Britain and Los Angeles. It’s set to open in theaters on May 20, 2011.

I believe Astrid will make an easy transition to Hollywood A-lister, in the same way Mia Wasikowska made her rounds after getting the lead role in Alice in Wonderland.

Amy Winehouse seems to be looking even more haggard than usual lately.

The Rehab singer was spotted leaving the Mayfair Hotel in London Thursday night (April 14) in a zombie-like state and could barely stay awake in the back seat of her car.

Apparently she’s been working hard on her music career. According to Mark Ronson, the pair are working on a followup to her previous album, Back to Black.

“There’ll be something to hear quite soon. That’s all I can say. There’s something good coming.”

Hard partying, hard work and a recent episode where she was rushed to hospital after complaining of chest pains hasn’t been kind to Amy. The chest pains are reported to have been minor complications of breast enhancement surgery she went through last year, but will that be enough of a scare to make her take better care of herself?

It’s like Hollywood is running low on love fuel. The number of couples who are on their way to splitsville is growing by the day.

Larry King and Shawn Southwick

Both filed their divorce papers on Wednesday in Los Angeles. This would be the seventh divorce for the 76-year-old TV host. Larry and his estranged wife have reportedly officially separated April 13, and both are seeking shared custody of their two sons, Cannon, 9, and Chance, 11. Shawn, 50, a singer and infomercial host, prefers sole custody of their kids with visitation rights for Larry, plus spousal support. Larry King’s spokesperson Howard Rubenstein told People, “His major concern is the welfare of his children, and beyond that he’s not going to comment about the divorce.”

Melissa and Tammy Etheridge

After almost nine years of marriage, Melissa and Tammy Etheridge are separating. Melissa, 48, has two children, Bailey, 13, and Beckett, 11, with her former partner Julie Cypher. They were conceived via artificial insemination courtesy of friend and rock legend David Crosby. Tammy (formerly Tammy Lynn Michaels), 35, bore two children—son Miller and daughter Johnnie Rose in 2006, soon after Melissa recovered from breast cancer.

It’s only been a year since they started dating, and things have already gone sour. The 54-year-old actor and his Russian girlfriend have a 5-month-old daughter, Lucia, and they will continue to be friends for the sake of their baby. According to friends, the two simply “drifted apart.” Mel has seven other children with his estranged wife Robyn, while Oksana has a son with her former boyfriend, actor Timothy Dalton.

The 43-year-old actress’ seven-year marriage to the British photojournalist is over. Tia has decided to act as her own attorney as she seeks sole physical custody of their 4-year-old daughter, Bianca. The two have cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.

Hey, if the werewolf can do it, so can the vampire! Saturday Night Live’s Lorne Michaels recently told OK! magazine that they’re still trying to get Robert Patttinson to be a guest host on SNL.

Last year, R-Pattz fans were disappointed when the SNL peeps said that they couldn’t accommodate the Twilight hunk because they’re “all locked in with the hosts for this year.”

They were also hesitant because they weren’t sure about the 23-year-old’s hosting skills. “And then he did Jimmy’s show and that went well for him,” said Lorne. Check out R-Pattz’s comedy stint and interview with Jimmy Fallon on his Late Night show last month.

Will we see R-Pattz’s hosting skills at SNL soon? “You never know,” Lorne told OK!.

Oh no she didn’t! Tila Tequila, who’s been busy with her “comeback,” is dead serious about becoming the newest celebrity blogger. In an interview with PopEater, she proclaimed that she’s out to beat Perez Hilton.

“This is my calling,” she said when asked about TilaTequilaOMG.com. “I’m very outspoken, I don’t care what anyone says about me and I will call it out as I feel. So the celebrity gossip blog will just dethrone Perez Hilton.”

Here’s something all you dog lovers will enjoy. PBS produced a new documentary about assistance dogs called Through A Dog’s Eyes, which is based on the Jennifer Arnold book of the same title.

If the book and movie Marley & Me brought you to tears, then you will enjoy this touching documentary that follows the journey of service dogs and the people whose lives they change. The dogs are so adorable! See the trailer below.

The producers also enlisted the help of Neil Patrick Harris. The How I Met Your Mother actor is the narrator of the film, which will air on April 21, 8 p.m. ET. A dog owner himself, Neil told the Associated Press that he was moved “by the strong emotional connection between the service animals and those who rely on them.”

It isn’t just Catherine Zeta-Jones’ May cover that’s getting people to purchase Allure’s May issue; it’s the five stars that went all the way for the magazine’s annual “The Naked Truth” photo shoot.

First, there’s American Idol judge Kara Dioguardi, who proudly went from a size 8 to a sexier size 2. “Food is not what I use to anesthetize myself anymore,” she said.

Second, there’s actress Regina Hall, who credited her svelte body to Ashtanga Yoga, which she’s been doing five days a week since the beginning of January.

Third, there’s Emmanuelle Chriqui, one of the stars of Entourage. She may have one of the most sought-after pair of assets, but she revealed, “[I wish] I could have had a dancer’s body.”

Fourth, there’s Grey’s Anatomy’s Jessica Capshaw, who actually doesn’t see herself as super sexy. “I was never a rail-thin person,” she said.

Lastly, there’s singer Colbie Caillat, who initially had worries about her baring it all for Allure. “I worried that it might make [my younger fans] think I was changing somehow,” she said.

It was a family affair as the Australian actor was given his own prestigious star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame. Russell, who turned 46 this month, was surrounded by family and friends on April 12 when he was honored in Hollywood, California.

Russell and his wife Danielle Spencer, as well as their two sons Charles and Tennyson posed for photographers, while Russell’s friends cheered him on.

Comedian Jay Leno, producer Ron Howard, and actor Sam Worthington were among the celebrity friends who came to support Russell.

His newest movie, Robin Hood, is opening on May 14 in the US, but Russell is already warning fans not to expect the iconic Robin Hood tights.

“There are no tights in this film,” he told Reuters. “They weren’t invented until quite a few hundred years after when the story takes place. We start our story in 1199. Tights don’t come into play until the 1600s. I do apologize to those who will be disappointed that there are no tights.”

Are you lost, Becks? Apparently not. Football star David Beckham (right) is still recuperating from his torn Achilles tendon from last month’s AC Milan game, so he’s taking a break from the field.

Who says a footballer can’t enjoy some courtside fun? We spotted him watching a basketball game between the LA Lakers and Portland Trailblazers at the Staples Center in Los Angeles last Sunday. With him at the courtside was celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay. They even got the star treatment when Kobe Bryant and his buddies had a little chat with the two celebrity fans before the game started.

Becks has been a fan of the Lakers ever since he moved to California three years ago. It’s too bad the Trailblazers beat the defending NBA champs, 91-88 that day.

Peter Steele, frontman for the punk rock band Type O Negative, died April 14, 2010, as confirmed by the band’s keyboardest, Josh Silver. Mistress Juliya (aka Juliya Chernetsky), broke the news of Peter Steele’s death on her Twitter page hours afterwards.

Peter Steele’s real name was Petrus T. Ratajczyk, born on January 4, 1962 in Brooklyn, New York. Steel was 6’7″ tall and performed with a low bass voice that became a distinguishing sound of the band Type O Negative. Steele’s work before joining the band included stints with metal band Fallout and the thrash rock band Carnivore.

Although there were no official confirmations at the time of writing, it is believed that Steele’s cause of death was due to heart failure.

Most celebrities like to dress down when they hit the airport. Remember the days when the likes of Paris Hilton would go to the airport dressed in pajamas with a pillow in tow? They’ve had a long day, and they can’t wait to sleep it off in the plane.

Not Lady Gaga. She arrived at Narita International Airport in Chiba-prefecture, Japan yesterday dressed in this out-of-this-world outfit. She matched her leather gloves with black platform boots that must’ve given her eight extra inches in height.

After weeks of non-stop tours, guest appearances, and performances, I don’t know how she was able to keep her balance on those sky-high boots. Even supermodels Naomi Campbell and Aggy Deyn tripped on the catwalk wearing runway shoes that are as high as Lady Gaga’s.

It looks like she’s channeled her inner kawaii-ness for her Japanese audience. Check out the Japanese scribbles on her left arm. She must’ve been bored en route to Japan and borrowed a flight attendant’s pen. According to online sources, it translates to: “I Love small monster, Tokyo Love.” She also wrote the same message on her white Hermes tote.
