
Once popular in the 70’s the cocktail called the “Snowball” has been hitting the UK Christmas party circuits this year simply because it was endorsed by Nigella Lawson, Celeb chef and domestic goddess.
The drink, whose main ingredient is Advocaat, a liqueur with egg yolk, brandy, vanilla and sugar, was flying off the shelves in London liquor shops (after 20 plus years of obscurity), as were Snowballs’ other ingredients, cherry and apricot brandy and creme de menthe.
