Lily Allen has suffered a miscarriage. She and husband Ed Simons (of Chemical Brothers fame) were expecting their first child, and are “in a state of complete shock”.

Though Lily — nominated for a Grammy for best alternative album — has a reputation for being a wild child, her whole philosophy of life changed when she found out she was pregnant. Friends say that she was looking forward to being a mom.
