Did Jonathan Rhys Meyers Attempt Suicide?

Fame has a steep price to pay for those who can’t handle the lifestyle, the pressure and realities of being a celebrity. Most of us who view from the outside never see the turmoil that spins and weaves the web of depression and sometimes that of death.
After being admitted for rehab treatment on alcohol related problems five times, “Tudors” star Jonathan Rhys Meyers was just recently rushed to the hospital on account of a suicide attempt. Paramedics were forced to call the police after the 33 yrs old Irish actor refused treatment. The squabble took a good 30 minutes until he was eventually whisked away by an ambulance to a nearby hospital in north London.
Reports from sources have them definitely speculating the actor did try to take his life. Meyer’s close neighbours witnessed the incident as they all worriedly watched the commotion when the ambulance and police arrived at the actors residence.
It is believed Meyer’s overdosed on unspecified pills. Police confirmed that they were asked to attend the said incident as the London Ambulance Service called in due to a man refusing treatment.
Meyer’s was discharged from the hospital but would not comment on questions that imposed he tried to commit suicide.
The actor is known to his neighbours as a very pleasant man and never fails to greet and say hello. He is always out and about in his neighbourhood, which had all his neighbours baffled and worried when they witnessed the entire incident.
Alcoholism most certainly is a trigger factor for depression and eventual suicide. The battle may seem like a lifetime struggle for some, but so long as hope still shines even the tiniest flicker, it’s those times one finds himself getting up to fight and live through the next is what matters most. David Duchovny and Tea Leoni back in Splitsville

It looks like David Duchovny and Tea Leoni are giving their marriage another separation bash. This wouldn’t be the first time the couple have split up as this would be their second during their entire marriage.
In 2008, the couple went separate ways following a rehab treatment for Californication star, David Duchovny who admitted to having problems with sex addiction. The couple apparently got back together after living separately for several months. They were seen in June 2009 spending some time together and has thus confirmed their reconciliation in September of that same year.
Marriage isn’t a walk in the park for any couple, let alone those who battle with issues that need to be resolved time and again. Hence, We’re guessing the reason why David and Tea have never finalized their separation with divorce despite their marital hurdles.
However, this time around, the couple’s representative will only pin a definite separation for moment. The permanence of their current break up is still unknown, as David and Tea would prefer to keep things under wraps for the sake of their children, Madeleine 12 and Kyd Miller ,9. Talk of divorce has not yet stirred on both camps, so we’re keeping our fingers crossed they get to sort their dance to an encore.
The former X-files star tied the knot with Tea in 1997. That is still a good 9 years of marriage to look back on even after such a controversial marital issue triggered by Duchovny’s admittance to sex addiction.

Rachel Weisz and Daniel Craig Secretly Tie the Knot

“ The Mummy” chaser Rachel Weisz seems to have found her lost treasure in 43 year old Daniel Craig.
The couple secretly tied the knot in a hush hush ceremony which only had four people in attendance. Apart from Craig’s 18 year old daughter, Ella , Weisz also had her 4 yr old son Henry standing by. There were only two other friends who shared this blissful day in NewYork with the couple.
After a nine year relationship with “ Black Swan “ director Darren Aronofsky, the actors have finally broken their silence on their years of platonic friendship. Craig was also in a previous relationship and engaged to Satsuki Mitchell for five years. Reports started buzzing in November 2010 when they there were first linked, as a result of their upcoming horror movie “ The Dream House”.
Craig and Weisz were also last spotted shopping at a Louis Vuitton store in London last March.
Both Weisz and Craig are currently doing a movie where they play husband in wife in “The Dream House”. True enough, this made things much more convenient for them to be linked in real time.
In case you’re having a hard time pinning a face to Daniel Craig, the actor is best known in his portrayal of the amorous dashing debonair, James Bond. Craig is up for the 23rd movie series of James Bond entitled “ The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo”. Although the sequel has been delayed due to some financial issues, progress on the film still hasn’t pegged a release date.
On the other hand, you can mark down horror movie popcorn dates for “The Dream House” in September.

Lady Gaga Faces Lawsuit on Japan Wristband Sales

Lady Gaga and her wristbands for Japan’s earthquake relief efforts seem to not have gone down the proper profit beneficiary channels . This has been the class action suit filed against the pop sensation and the other companies involved in the sales and marketing of the “ We Pray for Japan” wristbands.
The $5 white and red rubber bands, whose sales and profits were supposedly promised by the singer to benefit the victims of Japan’s earthquake, are now in question through allegations of Michigan legal network, 1800 LAWFIRM. The law firm is also pinning charges on account of “artificially inflated reports of total donations” as well as overcharging buyers on shipping costs.
This entire lawsuit comes in the wake of reports that federal racketeering and consumer protection laws were being broken through deceptive advertising as well as misappropriation of profits from the sales of the wristbands.
The 25 yr. old singer’s official website does show a significant number of comments from fans who have expressed their disappointment on the long delivery as well as shipping and handling costs of more than the price of the said wristbands. The lawsuit filed against the pop diva aims to shed light on any improprieties and ensure that the singer and her partnering companies appropriate the full donations to their promised beneficiaries.
Steffani Germonatta, or also known in pop music as Lady Gaga herself – graced the pages of Forbes magazine as the most powerful celebrity in the world. She is currently doing her “Born this Way” benefit concert tour in Japan. Sales from the rubber bracelets along with other marketing ventures have been reportedly donated to the earthquake victims totalling a whopping donation of $3 million.

George Clooney is Back in Bachelorsville

Looks like someone is back to the bachelor pad and all you ladies can start pinning your George Clooney posters in your room and onto your desktop. Yep,he’s back in the market!
In a joint statement, Clooney and Italian actress/model Elisabetta Canalis have announced that they have gone separate ways. Fairly enough, their two year relationship seemed all too well til it lasted. Being the jet-setters they are, their time was mostly spent together at Clooney’s Lake Como estate in Italy. Although they did not disclose the reasons for their split, their statement only reads, “ It’s very difficult and very personal and we hope everyone can respect our privacy.
In June, one oItalian magazine has the 32 yr old Canalis speaking of how she feels her fairytale is continuing. However, we all know how the notorious tight lipped Clooney has always said and reiterated that he would never marry again – and that is anyone including Elisabetta. Did I hear anyone say ouch?
We don’t know how this stands even though most of Canalis’ interviews has her beaming with happiness and expressed “ in the future I will be married.” No one knows what goes on in the mind of the very private George Clooney. In case you didn’t know, Clooney was once married to actress Talia Balsam from 1989 to 1993.
Marriage is a big leap for most of the stars who have been divorced. However jaded they have become at some point they may decide to change their mind to give it that one last try. And as most stories are in the world of celebrities, nothing is ever written in stone.
Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnilo Wedding to be Aired on TV

It looks like another NEWLYWEDS edition is on the works for Nick Lachey. Yep, that’s another TV wedding for the 98 degrees singer and his soon-to-be wife Vanessa Minilo.
TLC has signed in to exclusively feature a special on the couple’s upcoming wedding tentatively titled Nick and Vanessa’s Dream Wedding. The network has not announced a premier date as of yet, but word has it it will be aired just within a few weeks after the wedding ceremony. Then again, there is still the mystery of the wedding date as the couple has been keeping their lips tightly sealed on this.
Lachey who is now 37, married his first wife Jessica Simpson in 2002 which was aired as a special on MTV . This became the take off point of their 3 year MTV reality show “ Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica”. Shortly after their marriage ended in 2006, Lachey started dating TV host and actress Vanessa Minnilo.
Nick and Vanessa got engaged in November 2010 after a rumoured brief split. And since it looks like love is definitely running all the way to the altar, the couple expressed their gratitude to their loving fans by sharing their exciting journey to married bliss via their chronicled wedding TV coverage.
TLC network manager Amy Winter reveals the wedding special will also feature footages from the joint wedding shower, and the search for Vanessa’s wedding dress.
Of course not to be over shadowed by all this wedding media excitement of her ex husband, Jessica Simpson announced her engagement to ex-football player Eric Johnson just a week after Lachey and Minnilo made their wedding plans public.

Miley Cyrus & Liam Hemsworth:Officially “On” again …at least for now.

Certainly we all know Miley is no longer that sweet teen we’ve all adored as Hannah Montana. She’s all grown up and by golly, she has indeed grown into a lovely young woman in her own element. Sure enough she’s going to have boy issues at some point, as the young lass tries to keep a good balance on her career and personal life.
As it is, Miley is down under in Oz land doing her Gypsy heart tour with at least 7 more stops and shows under her arm to complete. The juice comes straight off from Miley’s older brother Trace who confirms his sister is officially back in the arms of her ex-boyfriend Liam Hemsworth.
The couple called it quits August of last year but fans have seen them photographed together again last November. Word has it they have been doing the run about with the on-off thing leaving fans wondering if they can even keep up with their relationship.
Her on and off 21 year old beau is currently on set break from his upcoming movie “ The Hunger Games”. The movie has him playing next to Woody Harrelson and Jennifer Lawrence with the crew still filing in North Carolina.
While on her tour in Sydney, shutterbugs have spotted Miley and Liam last Sunday just hanging like old times . Being an Australian, we’re guessing Liam found this a perfect opportunity to show Miley around his native city. They were seen browsing at a Far East- style home décor and clothing store and a were followed onto a noodle restaurant chain having lunch. If they manage not to split up in the next few weeks, Liam may just as well catch Miley on the last leg of her tour down under in Perth on July 2.
Aaah, young love. Such a sweet time to revel in confusion and that one big quest even us grown ups still are clueless about … we all want to know what love is! But, hey it’s all about the journey and it’s pit stops that make the adventure worth writing about in our memoirs . Til then we’re crossing our fingers and hope the couple sort out this little thing called love.
Jackass Star Ryan Dunn Dies In Car Crash

Jackass will never be the same again. If you’re one of those that took to the humor of the famed Jackass movies, then this will certainly be a sad read for all of you. Ryan Dunn died in a car crash Monday morning of June 20. The 34 year old daredevil and star of Jackass was in his 2007 Porche 911 GT3 when it was found off the road in the woods in West Goshen Township, Pennsylvania. Police reports have placed an unidentified passenger along with Dunn who both suffered fatal injuries from the accident at around 3am.
Word has it the accident may have been speed related but cops can’t confirm if alcohol was involved. However, Dunn’s twitter has a picture of him drinking with friends late Sunday.
Indeed truly a sad day in the MTV office with the tragic loss of a beloved MTV family member. Ryan Dunn has been with MTV for more than a decade. In a statement, MTV Networks Music/Films Group president Van Toffler expressed his deepest condolences to the family and friends of Ryan Dunn. “ The Jackass brother will never be the same.”
His brand of humor has won many hearts with the way he made people laugh. Just like that old middle school friend you had, who never seemed to tire of his enthusiastic approach to life. One of Dunn’s infamous scenes in Jackass 2002, was of him shoving a toy car up his bum. I know, not many find that pretty funny but for those who do, Ryan Dunn will surely be missed.

Jennifer Aniston Shacks up with Justin Theroux: Or is it the other way around?

After her break up with John Mayer in 2008, it seems pretty odd how Jennifer Aniston had remained tight lipped on her dating life, and her beaus…until recent events. Seemingly, Jen found herself hooking up with actor Justin Theroux in the set of Wanderlust September 2010 and eventually reconnecting ties last March.
Jennifer Aniston and her new beau went public with their budding romance just quite recently and little did we know they both have already upped their romance game plan.
True enough, the couple are now shacked up in Jen’s LA home.
Theroux is indeed living in Aniston’s place and now basks in the limelight of having the actress introduce him as her boyfriend.
Who is this new man in Jen’s life? He clearly has won her heart. The 39 yr old Theroux has quite some good feathers on his hat being an actor, director and screen writer for a bunch of memorable projects in both TV and the big screen. His latest that being Wanderlust where he plays opposite Jennifer Aniston.
Reports have it that 42 year old Jen already had her eye set on Theroux from the get go. She would often hold parties at her place with him and eventually things started to bloom and sizzle between the co-stars.
Theroux has been seen spending a lot of days and nights at Jen’s place in LA and is considering spending the summer there as well.
Prior to their budding relationship, Justin is known to have kept a 14 year relationship with now ex gf and costume designer Heidi Bivens. They lived together for 6 years at an apartment in NYC but just last weekend or so, Bivens has moved out. Theroux is known to keep a room at Hollywood’s Chateau Marmont, up until he took up residence at Jen’s uber sleek and chic home.
Love is a mystery, even to those who seem to have been in the game for quite a long time. I guess Theroux’s unstoppable growing facial hair may yet hold the key answer to all this?

Prince Harry May Deploy to Afghanistan in 2012

Nothing else could ever spell sexy than a man in uniform. Especially, if you knew it was royalty serving his country in battle. Well, you get the complete royal sexy package of such a sight in Prince Harry.
The 23 yr old Royal Prince has just recently qualified as an Apache helicopter pilot and may be headed back to combat in war-torn Afghanistan soon. Having served in the Helmand province in 2008, Prince Harry had little choice in getting extracted after endless media haunting compromised his location.
As of this date, hushed reports and whispers out of Britain have pegged another deployment for Prince Harry when his squadron returns to Afghanistan for another tour next year. The palace as well as Britain’s Ministry of Defence remains tight lipped on this topic, saying how they cannot comment on the deployment of individual service personnel.
A spokesperson for the Clarence house reiterates on this issue with a statement : “ Harry is an army pilot and will deploy wherever the army chooses to send him. His course finishes in 2012 and after that his deployment will be a matter for the army chain of command.”
The young prince has always been keen on his duties of service and, truth of the matter is, he does look quite sexy while serving his country in battle. The once notorious royal blood is now much more refined and strapping in his ways. When asked about his military aspirations, Prince Harry gracefully quips, “ My goal is to serve my country like everybody else in the British Forces.:
After all the royal wedding bliss of his older brother, Prince Harry may be looking at deployment as early as the summer of 2012. Marriage may yet be in the far side of things with the royal bachelor for now, and his commitment to service may keep him in the market for a little while longer.

Joss Stone : Police uncover a murder plot on the singer

The price of fame and fortune can be steep for any celebrity at any point in their lives. Some may be lucky to have been able to gain from their stature , and yet some … fall in too deep to even fish themselves out. And yet there are those who just happen to be in the area and get snagged.
This is what may have been the case with British Musician Joss Stone. BBC News reports of two men who are currently held by authorities on suspicion of conspiracy to rob and probably murder Joss Stone in her Devon home. Both suspects are from Manchester, England.
Sources say that neighbours noticed a suspicious looking vehicle parked on the premises of the singer’s residence and made it a point to call and report the activity to the police. Although no one knows if Stone was in her home when the men were arrested, but the sultry singer confirms she was aware of them and that she was absolutely fine and trying to get on with her life as normal.
Police reports have compelling evidence of a murderous plot having found swords, ropes, forensic style overalls and a body bag in possession of the two suspects ages, 33 and 30. Aside from these, the men also had detailed maps and aerial photographs of Stone’s rural home.
The Detective Inspector handling the case reassures they are currently carrying out patrols and would like to make it known that no properties have been robbed and no individuals have been harmed.

Russell Crowe Apologizes for His Comments on Circumcision

Russell Crowe is in a bit of a hot spot after tweeting much about his views on circumcision. His vocal opinion came after a fan asked him about this issue. His reply on Twitter was pretty much how we all know Russell Crowe and his candid, non- amorous, rough around the edges expressive ways. He tweets on circumcision as barbaric and stupid and questions the matter on our position to correct nature. “ Is it real that God requires a donation of foreskin? Babies are perfect.”
Although the Oscar winning actor professed his genuine love for his Jewish friends, he has expressed his desire for them to stop this tradition that is backed up by centuries of faithful following.
Crowe writes. “ I love my Jewish friends. I love the apples and the honey and the funny little hats, but stop cutting your babies. I will always stand for the perfection of babies. I will always believe in God, not man’s interpretation of what God requires. Last of it, if you feel it is your right to cut things off your babies, please unfollow and f—off. I’ll take attentive parenting over barbarism.”
Eli Roth, comes to Russell Crowe’s defence saying the actor is a great person and respectful of all religions and is not anti-Semitic as most publications have been suggesting due to Crowes unguarded thoughts.
Taking it upon his good side, Russell deleted his previous tweets and posted an apology. His tweet now reads, “ I have a deep and abiding love for all people of all nationalities. I’m very sorry that i have said things on here that have caused distress. My personal beliefs aside, I realize that some will interpret this debate as me mocking the rituals and traditions of others. I am very sorry.”

Paris Hilton Jabs a Bad Joke at Lindsay Lohan

We all know how consequences of our actions sometimes catches up to us no matter how much the price we’ve already paid for it. With the media gone crazy on the plight of Lindsay Lohan and her constant battles with authorities, it is pretty easy for other celebrities to poke fun at her self-inflicted misfortunes.
While on the set of her reality TV show, The world according to Paris, Paris Hilton jabbed a rather painful joke at Lindsay Lohan. A woman asked Paris for a pair of earrings she was wearing, and although she agreed to give it away, the heiress was quoted as saying. “ I’m not Lindsay. If I were Lindsay, I’d be stealing the earrings and not giving them away.”
Her rather insightful joke comes after Lindsay Lohan’s arrest for theft of a necklace from a high end boutique called Kanoffie & Co in LA. Lohan has most certainly broken her 2007 probation which was given after her arrest for DUI due to the theft charges filed against her last April.
The once shining child star, was cast in a shadow of a steep fine and 3 years probation after pleading no contest to the charges of theft. She is currently serving 480 hrs of community service and 120 days in jail. She is to turn herself in on June 17.
The 24 yr old actress has begun her community service last week and shall be serving her jail term under house arrest.
How sad indeed for such a beautiful face be so riddled with poor decisions and judgement in a life that expects her to be on top of her game. She admits to many of her poor decisions but easily quips she is a fighter and is aware of how much work she needs to get done to enable her audience to shower her with the same respect.

Orlando Bloom Brings New Twist to ” The Hobbit”

Finally, the long wait on the prequel to The Lord of The Rings Trilogy is underway and currently filming in New Zealand. Orlando Bloom signs up and joins the cast of Peter Jackson’s “The Hobbit” prequel projects scheduled for release in 2012 and 2013.
Although Bloom’s previous elf character isn’t written in J.R.R Tolkien’s original novel, Jackson is excited to reveal that Middle Earth will once more revel in Legolas’ presence. The director can’t wait to work with Bloom and quips that as much as 10 years has passed by since Lord of The Rings brought Orlando’s stardom to great heights, he doesn’t look a day older than the day he first wowed audiences as Legolas. That in itself, makes him a wonderful elf indeed!
With 14 years sitting on the drawing board, The “Hobbit” prequel movies finally gets a move on things after getting buried in some set backs. New Line Cinema had Peter Jackson filing suit against them for claims of lost revenue related to The Fellowship of the Ring.
Taking on Guillermo del Torro as it’s new director three year later, conflicts in scheduling forced him to drop out of the project in May 2010 bringing Jackson back in his director’s chair in October of 2010.
As if that was enough hoopla surrounding the films, union disputes in New Zealand put the project on a tipped edge of relocating filming all the way to Europe. And just to put the cherry on the delay icing, Jackson suffered from a perforated ulcer and had to undergo surgery.
Now back in the good saddle, Jackson has his Facebook page beaming with images of him hanging out on the set of this much awaited prequel. Cate Blanchett, Elijah Wood, Ian McKellan and Andy Serkis are also reliving their previous roles from the epic trilogy of The Lord of The Rings. The Hobbit prequel has its plot centred on the characters of Bilbo and Frodo.
I wonder if they will wear ruby rings.

Josh Duhamel Returns to All My Children

Most of you girls out there might have to skip work and take the day off to watch the final episodes of All My Children on ABC, as the show draws to a close this fall. Josh Duhamel is up for a cameo role as his old character in Pine Valley, Leo du Pres. Yeah, you read that right! Now you can scream into that pillow an breathe. You’re handsome strapping Transformers GI has signed up for this short comeback in honor of the show that took him on an express ride to stardom.
Duhamel rose to fame playing Leo du Pres in this long-running daytime soap. He even won an Emmy in 2002 for his con artist character. His love interest in the show , Greenlee , who is played by Rebecca Budig, is also back on the set after leaving the program a few time since Josh Duhamel left the show in 2003.
True enough, the cameo appearance of Leo will be one of the highlights of this season ender as we may also expect another on-screen affair between du Pres and Greenlee.
Apparently, Josh Duhamel isn’t the only actor doing a comeback to his soap beginnings before their beloved series takes the axe. Julian Moore, who starred in As the World Turns many moons ago, also returned to the show last year just prior to the soap leaving the airwaves. On January 2012, ABC will see One Life to Live bowing out of the tubes. We may just as well see many big screen stars doing their own returns to this soap before it finally sees its last episode on air. These could include, Ryan Phillipe and Tommy Lee Jones.
