Jennifer Lopez Signs Up As L’Oreal Girl

Jennifer Lopez is the new face of L’oreal! The sweet yet fiery Latina is very excited to take on this iconic role for the cosmetic brand as she believes the brand epitomizes glamour.
Being a hard working glamour mom certainly doesn’t seem to take toll on the songstress herself. She still boasts of dangerous curves, glowing skin and long luscious flowing locks. Who could ever guess she is a 41 year old mamita?
Lopez says it is very important for her to maintain great skin and beautiful hair. She wants to emphasize on a healthy look which entails keeping her hair in good condition and her skin in top form
Although not everyone is blessed with good genes, it is not impossible to achieve a healthy young looking glow. Jennifer strongly advises women in any age group to take time to look after themselves.
She says to avoid sun exposure , smoking and drinking. You would think how a woman in her status can avoid getting sucked into an unhealthy lifestyle of non stop over indulgence in alcohol, smoking .. and late night partying. But this girl from the block firmly believes in keeping the excesses to a bare minimum by eating healthy, not smoking and binging on alcohol and going tan crazy chasing the sun.
For most Caucasians, sun damage is a detrimental factor to losing that healthy glow. Always use sunscreen whenever you step out of the house. Lopez admits her excitement since she herself will tell you that she admires how L’Oreal is always instep with glamour and innovation.

Ryan Reynolds: Taking It Easy With Love

The “Sexiest Man Alive” is apparently still hurting over his divorce from his 2-year marriage to now ex-wife Scarlett Johannson. Ryan Reynolds says he still needs time to heal to this day after their divorce last December.
In an interview, the 34 year old actor, who we want to see in funny T-shirts admits he’s still not out of the mud yet but holds a lot of optimism for the future. Although he seems to be going through a lot of pain, just like anyone who goes through a divorce. Reynolds say, eventually you come out of it.
The Green Lantern actor muses that he may no longer want to get married again. Speaking on his emotional stand at this point, Reynolds says he is now a different person than he was six months ago. He has been spotted getting friendly with German model Agnes Fischer while filming his new movie Safe House in South Africa. When asked about this, he quickly quips that he is very happy not be in a relationship right now and finds dating to be somewhat of an alien thing to him at this point in his life.
In spite of his refusal to discuss any specific matters regarding his Scarlett Johansson, he proudly speaks of how they managed to end their marriage and still maintain the idea that she is still the same person he married.
Still the reigning “Sexiest Man Alive” , Ryan Reynolds is concentrating on his current project “Safe House” where he prouds himself with death defying stunts and intense emotional scenes.

Kim Kardashian Is Engaged !

Well, that’s about it for all you Mr. Kim Kardashian hopefuls. About time you throw in the towel, but you can still keep the posters on your wall. She’s officially out of the singles race and off the bachelorette market. A confirmed statement from the rep of the sultry reality star says Kim Kardashian is now officially engaged to her Bball playing boyfriend, Kris Humphries.
Kim began dating 26 year old New Jersey Nets forward, Humphries last December and from that point onwards, the couple seemed to be so closely drawn to each other . This became quite evident when the 30 yr old fashion mogul decided to move to NYC in her efforts to be close to her man.
Kim remained fervently mum on her engagement but was always very vocal on how she sees her guy and their relationship. She describes Humphries as a man with a really good heart and stated her beliefs in utmost trust, honesty and chemistry in any relationship.
Having her sisters Kourtney and Khloe basking in family life bliss, Kim has always expressed her desire for a family in her Tweets. The woman certainly has had babies on the brain for a good while now and says: “I seriously thought by the time I was 30, I would have one baby and a bun in the oven… “
And even before that, Kim had posted a childhood photo of Kris Humphries on her Tweeter page adding a note that said: “ I want my son to look like this!”
Well, she certainly has had the rug rat meter up and running and we certainly wish her the best . After falling through a few relationships with football players Reggie Bush and Miles Austin, as well as Halle Berry’s model ex, Gabriel Aubury … this is truly IT with Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian. So for all you fellas out there, just drown your heartbreak with a stiff drink and chalk it up to tough luck.

Russell Brand Deported From Japan

A classic example of your sordid past catching up with you, is Russel Brand getting deported from Japan when he came along to support singer and wife Katy Perry for her Japan tour. Based on the pop star’s tweets , “ So … my husband just got deported from Japan. I am so. sad. I brought him all this way to show him my favorite place.”
Russel Brand, who married Perry in 2010, has been in a number of scuffles with authorities battling with his drug and alcohol addiction. Having been arrested quite a few times, he has recently had another bout with authorities for allegedly attacking the paparazzi at an LA airport last year.
No comment or feedback from the singer and her husband as to the reason behind Japanese officials for denying entry to the British actor/comedian. The only words Katy Perry mentioned regarding this, was due to some “priors”.
Brand didn’t same fazed with the incident, as his Twitter page had him posting, “ Planning escape from Japanese custody, It’s bloody hard to dig a tunnel with a chopstick.”
Katy Perry had no choice but to go ahead with her show saying that she still loves her Japanese fans.
Perry and Brand’s marriage skyrocketed them into being one of Hollywood’s high profile couples, even with Russell Brand’s notorious past and criminal history. Quite surprising to know at this point that Katy Perry grew up with parents who are both evangelical ministers. In an interview for her cover spread in Vanity Fair magazine, the pop singer recalls her childhood with her mother reading the bible to her in place of the usual children’s books.
With her success in the music industry, and carving her own brand of sexy pop music and bold retro revealing outfits, Perry admits that her relationship with her parents now have come to a coexisting crossroad where they no longer try to change each other and all agree to disagree.
She speaks of her relationship with husband Russell Brand as having no dull moment together. Merely laughing at the incident when pics of her minus her usual dolled up face leaked out to the public. Hubby Russell thought it funny to take a picture of his wife in bed sans make-up.
And on that note, in case you’re shopping for a celebrity home, Katy Perry and Russell Brand’s Los Feliz home is on the market for a lovely price tag of $3.395 million.

Sarah Michelle Gellar Returns to Television

For all you Buffy fans, guess who’s back from the vampire grave? After an 8 year break, Sarah Michelle Gellar resurrects onto the boob tube for CW network with its drama series “Ringer”.
Although Gellar had already considered a TV comeback two years ago, she made it clear that she wanted to get back on cable. The actress also wanted to make sure that her fans would love whatever she does on TV as much as they loved growing up with Buffy. Her new project seems to hold a lot of promise but is yet to prove its boob tube appeal with Buffy’s loyal fans.
The new CW series features Gellar’s role as a twin. A recovering addict who is estranged from her wealthy twin sister, and goes on the run when she witnessed a murder. The story line boasts of a juicy plot and reveals a lot of shocking twists. This project was previously made for CBS but they passed it on to its sister network CW. Although the series is still in progress and only has the pilot on the table, it remains unsure if it will run as a full series.
After her stint with “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and the show came to a close in 2003, Gellar dipped her toes in “ The Grudge” and did some voice over for “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles”. She also married long time boyfriend Freddie Prinze Jr in September of 2001. The couple now have a daughter.

Rachel McAdams Finds Love at “Midnight in Paris”

Paris never fails to bring that rosy colored hue in one’s life …and loves. And true enough for Rachel McAdams and Michael Sheen, “ Midnight in Paris” brought them together in both in reel and real time.
This Woody Allen film co-stars Rachel McAdams opposite Owen Wilson and Michael Sheen. Following months of guessing who’s hooked up with who … McAdams and Sheen have finally confirmed their relationship. The couple’s endless midnight walks, talks , laughs and shared meals while filming in Paris, blossomed into a real friendship where they both enjoyed getting to know each other in the streets of Notre Dame.
Admitting that they have been a couple for a while now, Sheen speaks of Rachel as a fantastic actress. The 42 yr old British actor seems to be smitten by McAdams, as he describes her to be a genuine, stunningly beautiful and talented lady. They were seen holding hands in Toronto last November during the Toronto International Film Festival, triggering rumors that they were both dating.
Rachel McAdams has been known to have dated her on screen love ,Ryan Gosling in the much noted tear jerker film “The Notebook”, and suave hunkie Josh Lucas. However, the 34 yr old actress says she has been disillusioned with love clearly based on her parent’s happy marriage.
Michael Sheen on the other hand, seems to have been on a type cast of vampire films. Playing the role of Aro, the leader of the Volturi. He also starred with ex girlfriend Kate Beckinsale in “Underworld”, whom he has an 11 year old daughter with.
The Cannes International Film Festival had most of its notorious critics wrapped in laughter and applause over “Midnight in Paris” which also stars Adrien Brody and Marion Cotillard. Currently, Michael Sheen and Rachel McAdams are filming in Louisiana for their next project with director Terrence Malick.

Tom Cruise Gets Rockin’ and Rollin’

Guess who’s growing his top gun locks into a rocker coif? Tom Cruise is now sporting a rather dishevelled do in preparation for his new project “ Rock of Ages”. Yeap, you read that right, he’s diving in for the musicals. After his dancing antics, he’s pretty sure to get into the singing soon.
Tom just recently received the Humanitarian Award at the 2011 Wiesenthal Center National Tribute Dinner in Beverly Hills. The Jewish organization prouds itself for its human rights advocacy on confronting racism. The actor was cited and honored for being a dedicated philantrophist.
Now back to the music, 48 year old Cruise is playing the role of Stacie Jaxx and excitedly claims he has been learning a lot of things lately to do his role some good justice. Having no musical experience with a guitar, he has been juggling lessons between electric guitar, acoustic guitar and singing! Kinda hard to imagine Tom Cruise belting out in screams and a pair of pleather tight jeans. Ha! Rock of Ages is slated to start shooting this month.
You gotta hand it to the guy who jumps on a couch wrapped in a total lovestruck high and marries this doe-eyed long lithed cutie who’s idolized him for years. And then, he buys his own sonogram machine to monitor his first born, yet still manages to flip allover along his new age beliefs. The man certainly has his own thing going.
Giving a bit of a hint on Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, Tom Cruise is definitely keen to see how his co-produced film will reflect a new and distinct impression from its past sequels. The movie is scheduled for it’s release in December 2011.

Paul McCartney Has Popped The Question!

Looks like wedding bells continue to ring in London for it’s celebrities, as Paul McCartney announces his engagement to Nancy Shevell. Although, no further details have been given for specific dates or whatnot, the singer popped the question during a romantic candle lit dinner. The couple has been frequently seen together gracing celebrity events and posing for pics at a gala evening at the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art. Noticeably, the ring still hasn’t made a public appearance.
Known for keeping a tight lip on his private life, 68 year old McCartney has been dating 51 year old Shevell for nearly four years after the rather bitter divorce of the famous Beatle with then wife, Heather Mills.
Receiving honorable knighthood from Queen Elizabeth, Sir Paul McCartney has 29 years of solid marriage to American photographer Linda Eastman. Paul admits they have only ever spent 11 nights apart during their entire marriage but sadly enough, breast cancer took her away from this wedded bliss in 1998. Their happy union gave them four children, one of which is well known designer Stella McCartney.
Love took McCartney on a second adventure with his marriage to British former model, Heather Mills in 2002 and gave them a daughter. However, the adventure turned sour for the couple and eventually led to a bitter divorce in 2006 and a legal squabble over money in 2008.
To date, Sir Paul McCartney seems to be basking in love with the Nancy Shevell, who happens to be a distinguished board member of the New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority. We certainly wish one of the wealthiest musicians in Britain another shot at bliss. With his fortune estimated to tip at $811 million, what more could he ask for?

David Spade Plays His Aces

Actor and comedian David Spade shines in his heart of gold with the American Red Cross. With the aftermath of tornadoes that have ripped through the United States on April 27-28, Spade made a hefty donation of $200,000 in support of the American Red Cross’ tornado disaster relief operations.
Killing hundreds of people ,stranding thousands and leaving behind many people homeless, the tornadoes that wreaked havoc in the midwestern and southeastern US has led the Rules of Engagement star to extend a generous hand in the efforts of the Red Cross to reach out to affected people who are in desperate need of assistance.
The 46 yr old brother-in-law of famous designer Kate Spade, has long been a supporter of the Red Cross over the years. He is an American Red Cross National Cabinet member, assisting the agency with it’s relief efforts through his personal donations and money raised from his shows. This enabled Spade to contribute $50,000 to the states of Kentucky and Tennessee in July of last year.
In a statement, The American Red Cross has expressed their deep appreciation for the actor’s unfailing and selfless generous support through donating his time, talent and money to assist those in need.
Spade hopes that his move will encourage others to join him in his efforts to support the American Red Cross . Apparently, Charlie Sheen also shares this advocacy as the actor has launched a website in support of raising money for disaster relief for tornado victims. His website, TorpedosAgainstTornados.com promises to send any donor who contributes $100 or more, a personally autographed baseball from the controversial 45 year old actor.

Justin Bieber Stands Up Against Bullying

Justin Bieber takes his stand against bullying next to viral video hero Casey Heynes. If you haven’t heard of Casey Heynes, he is an Australian boy who became instantly famous from a cell phone video footage of him defending himself from a fellow schoolmate attacking him.
The said video instantly went viral and millions of people from around the world voiced out their heart for the 10th grader student. Justin Bieber was one of those who saw the video and learned of Casey’s story . Being able to closely relate to a teenager’s tough life, Bieber knew just how to make a statement on this matter as he flew Casey and his family to his concert in Melbourne. The singer even brought Casey out onto the stage with him, as the boy received proud cheers from the crowd.
In case you haven’t been reading much of Bieber fever news, the 17-year old pop idol has been quite the victim of bullying himself. Just recently he had eggs thrown at him onstage during one of his shows in Australia. Refusing to get rattled by it, the singer kept on with his performance. One would wonder though, why haters would even bother to spend money on tickets, stand with the maddening queue of fans, go through all that effort only to throw eggs at a 17 year old boy. Geez, so much hate in this world.
As for Casey Heynes, he got his sweet revenge and a loud and proud statement to the world to always stand up against bullying.

Jennifer Love Hewitt: Back in the game of love

Jennifer Love Hewitt is once again back in the single mix. After dating Alex Beh for almost a year, the Ghost Whisperer’s representative confirms another lost love for the actress. The couple started dating in late July of 2010 soon after Jen broke off with her Ghost Whisperer co-star Jamie Kennedy.
Nobody really knows why the 31 year old actress can’t seem to pin the right man down. Many have speculated it might have to do with her mother who still pretty much has a big say in her personal affairs. Word has it that Jennifer’s mom is the typical controlling Hollywood mom who may at some point get a little too much to handle for Jen’s love interests.
As it is, she describes actor-director Alex Beh, as a very sweet guy who manages to give her flowers every single day ever since the day they first met. He would either buy her a bouquet or handpick a single flower for her. Now where does one find such a guy nowadays, eh?
Despite her break-ups, Jennifer Love seems to be coping well. She keeps a hopeful line up of three engagement rings from Tiffany’s. Yep, you read that right! Jen admits to Ellen DeGeneres that she has 3 rings picked out, just in case the occasion arises.
According to the actress, she would be doing her future beau a favor so he doesn’t upset her man in the even he picks out a bad ring. Well, some people just have the need to be prepared at all times. Good luck , Jen … here’s hoping you pick the right man for you soon.
