On Monday a Los Angeles judge terminated Courtney Love. No, that’s not right. On Monday a Los Angeles judge terminated Courtney Love’s probation for drug & assault charges from 2005. There, that’s better, though a little less interesting.
Back in February 2005 Love was arrested for possessing a narcotic with a fraudulent prescription, as well as assault with a deadly weapon. Oucharoo, those are some biggies. Following her 18-month probation, random drug screenings, anger management courses, 100 hours of community service, $1000 and her attendance at Narcotics Anonymous three times a week, Love has finally been able to put those 2005 biggies behind her.
What did Love have to say for herself? “I’m so happy and excited. I’m relieved.”
“I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I’m happy helping people and helping myself. I just want to put all this stuff behind me. It’s all so last year.”
I wish I could screw up that big & say a year later, “It was all so last year.” Ahh, the price of being a celeb. I love it.
What do you think- When we will next see Courtney Love back in trouble?
