The studios are getting all controlling again again by starting to reign in celebs by adding a clause in their contracts banning them from using “a social networking site, blog or other internet-type site”. Of course, the contracts (for now) only specify that they are banned from using sites like Twitter, Facebook, etc when it comes to leaking info about specific projects they are working on. Makes sense to me. Still I can imagine some people making this into a “freedom of speech” issue.
Celebs we know affected right now are Cameron Diaz and Mike Myers (contract for the upcoming Shrek installment).
