Having a pet is good for you, and even if you’re a celebrity, you might need the companionship that only pets can bring. And we certainly know that some celebrities love and spoil their pets out of this world.
From extraordinary grooming habits to gourmet food to specially-built homes – these celebrity pets are more spoiled than the average American. And, just like their parents, they have special medical attention when necessary and patronize only the cream of the crop of animal clinics such as Panda Animal Clinic, which provides integrative medicine for pets, and even counseling on pet health, nutrition, exercise, surgery, and holistic medicines, including acupuncture and chiropractic adjustments!
If you want to get mind-blown by just how some celebrities love and spoil their pets – and maybe be a little envious, take a look at these five celebrities and their uber spoiled pets.
1. Jessica Simpson and Malti-poo Daisy
Jessica Simpson and her Malti-poo Daisy has to be number one on the list as the whole world knows about the special relationship between the two. There is no doubt that Daisy is as spoiled as her pretty owner, what with Daisy not being limited to “normal” dog food. As a matter of fact, Daisy received specially made dishes from Jessica’s personal chef. Jessica even threw birthday parties for Daisy, which surpassed many an average kid’s birthday party.
Unfortunately, Daisy met her untimely demise several years ago when a coyote nabbed her right in front of her mommy’s eyes. Not to be mean, but even Panda Animal Clinic or any other specialized pet clinic can’t do anything about that…
Here’s a cute tribute to this adorable dog.
2. Karl Lagerfeld and kitten Choupette
— WordWide (@WordWide_London) August 8, 2014
Designer Karl Lagerfeld certainly has all the means to spoil himself, and this more than overflows to his beloved kitten, Choupette Lagerfeld, who even has her own Twitter account. One look at her Twitter stream, and you’ll know this kitten has all the pampering a feline needs – and more. It is said that Choupette has her own iPad and two maids. How many of us can claim the same thing? Additionally Choupette gets regular manicures!
3. Paris Hilton and Chihuahua Peter Pan
Paris Hilton has more than her fair share of haters, but she sure has made something of herself, and perhaps has all the right in the world to spoil and pamper herself – and her best friend, Peter Pan. He’s not the imaginary little boy in green who never grows up, but he’s a teeny weeny chihuahua who goes with Paris practically everywhere she goes. She even takes him to pilates class!
Then there’s the fact that Paris had a mini dog mansion built in her backyard – a replica of her own, including electricity, lighting, heating, and air conditioning! Oh, and Peter Pan does not live there alone – he’s got Tinker Bell, another chihuahua, and a whole host of Paris Hilton’s pets.
4. George Clooney and his 300-pound pig Max
Ex-most eligible bachelor George Clooney used to have a 300-pound pig named Max Clooney, who passed away in 2006. He was George Clooney’s baby for 18 years, the longest relationship the actor has ever had. He has never planned to have any children, and Max was all he need – they even slept in the same bed sometimes. Now that he’s engaged, he still doesn’t have any plans of having children, but I doubt he’ll find a replacement for Max as well.

5. Leona Helmsley and Maltese Trouble
Leona Helmsley has passed away, but while she was alive, she made sure that her beloved dog, Trouble, would be well taken care of.
How? Leona Helmsley left $12 million to Trouble.
That’s certainly more than enough to allow Trouble to live as lavishly as possible. Unfortunately for the dog, Manhattan Surrogate Judge Renee Roth decided to reduce the amount to a “mere” $2 million. As for the rest of the money, it was distributed to various charities. Trouble’s still doing well, living in Florida with the general manager of the Helmsley Sandcastle Hotel. Not bad, you dog! We can only dream of inheriting even a fraction of that sum!
