People magazine reports that young Hollywood’s most adorable couple — once — have finally ended their engagement, and consequently, the relationship as well.

One of Hemsworth’s representatives has seconded the motion, saying that it’s true.

“We have no further comment,” the source adds.

For the social media-savvy crowd, fans already saw the sign when Miley and the entire Cyrus family stopped following Liam on Twitter.

The past few months saw Cyrus promote her upcoming Bangerz album extensively by, well, creating unwonted buzz such as the twerk-heavy “We Can’t Stop” video, the controversial VMA performance, and the sledgehammer-licking “Wrecking Ball” clip.

However, we can’t entirely owe the break-up to Miley’s antics.

Liam, on the other hand, has been linked to actresses such as Mad Men star January Jones and Mexican superstar Eiza Gonzalez, who he was with over the weekend.

Whatever the reason might be, we will find it out soon enough.
