On Sunday evening the Brokeback Mountain star told the gossip column from the front row of the 3:1 Phillip Lim that she wasn’t planning on attending any other Fashion Week shows, that she just has a weakness for Phillip Lim. After some idle chit chat, the Daily Dish questioned her about the great big diamond ring she was wearing on her finger.

Michelle’s response? “I don’t want to talk about it.”

Ooooo. I’m totally guessing that the two lovebirds have finally gotten engaged. Ahh, me, what a wonderful day that would be. They’re such a hot item.

I personally think they are already married. It seemed strange that when they went to Austraila for Heath’s Dad’s wedding that no one would ever say who he married. Heath was dressed very fine in a black suit and Michelle had on a white dress ( which is unusual for not being the bride}. I think it would be great if they were because they seem to be a couple that will make it. But if not who cares because they are still very family oriented and that is the important part. Besides, all they want to do is be left alone and live a normal life without everyone prying into all their personal business. They don’t want to be another Tom and Katie. Heath is my very favorite actor and he is great at it to. Good movie or not, he can play any role and do it supurbly.

They got engaged before their daughter was born. Ledger confirmed it at the Brothers Grimm premiere a year and a half ago.

Now they’re married. They got their marriage license in NY on Nov. 29th, 2006 and NY law says they have to use the license within 60 days.

I figure they had a ceremony in Perth when they “supposedly” went to his dad’s wedding, then had a small ceremony in NY to finalize it in the states a couple weeks ago. That ring on Heath’s finger is definitely a wedding band.

They didn’t get engaged. The press have just made it up, or has labelled them as ‘engaged’ or ‘married’ and they just haven’t corrected them. His sister Kate last December told the Australian press in Perth that Heath was neither married nor even engaged.
