angelina-jolie-bodyguards-arrest-11-17-2006.jpgAfter the arrest of three of Angelina Jolie’s bodyguards Friday for roughing up parents at an Indian school, Jolie has finally spoken about the incident, a week later. 

“It is not surprising that the press involved failed to mention their share of the responsibility in the chaos,” Jolie’s statement read.

Indian police detained three of Jolie’s bodyguards, who were released today, after parents of the Anjuman-e-Islam School complained that they had manhandled them while Jolie was filming A Mighty Heart at the school.

According to one source, one of the bodyguards was very verbal, ”This Jolie’s bodyguard called one parent, ‘You bloody Indian.’ ”

Jolie’s statement reacted to this particular issue, saying, “As for this horrible rumor that someone referred to a local man as a ‘bloody Indian,’ let me say this: I would never work with anyone that was derogatory towards another man’s race. My family is of mixed race.”

I dunno, Angelina.  You don’t mind working with some pretty tough & mean bodyguards, where do you draw the limit?  What do you think, should Angelina reconsider her hiring practices?
