It's fine now, but what happens when we start to go back to the dark ages when Aficans, Asians, Native Americans, and Latinos are being played by Caucasian actors; and all they have to do is paint their faces and tape their eyes. I don't blame her, i blame the person who hired her. I am sure she will excel in the part and make Mariane proud, but I still find it inappropiate because being an African Belizean American I could never see her as woman of African or Hispanic culture.
