‘I was getting out of the car and my dress was so tight that I didn’t realize it until I saw all the photographers’ flashes,” Anne told a journalist as reported by NY Daily News.
‘It was devastating. They saw everything. I might as well have lifted up my skirt for them.’

The No-Underwear mishap was taken when Anne was getting out from the car, eager beaver photographers quickly snapped away at the sight of Anne Hathaway’s exposed crotch. The elegant black dress which had a high slit was designed by Tom Ford and for her film’s premiere night Anne Hathaway chose to leave her underwear at home.

Anne known as a demure and serious actress was ‘devastated’ by the incident. ‘It’s so much better to be caught in Spanx,’ as one fashionista suggests the actress takes to heart.
