Paris Hilton and Benji Madden (who happens to be the twin of Nicole Ritchie’s boy) are seriously dating.

How long this will last, nobody knows, but the two have been seen getting hot-and-heavy at Hollywood’s trendiest bars. Paris even had lunch with his mom. Ooooh, so she’s meeting the folks now, huh? (He did include her in a “family photo” on his website).

Of course, this is Paris Hilton, so don’t hold your breath to see another 20 carat engagement ring.

Lindsay bares her soul

cvr_paper.jpg

Lindsay shares the emotional pain that drove her to drugs (and rehab) and her fear of being an “out of work actor” in her interview with Paper magazine.

“I hadn’t seen my dad; I had a lot of work stress ’cause I was constantly working and never took time to stop. The easiest thing was to run away from it, going out and drinking at night.”

Rehab gave her the much needed wake up call. “There’s not really much else to do when you’re sitting in a treatment center. It’s like, ‘Why am I here? Let’s think.”

She is now negotiating for a role in a movie about Clara Bow, an “it girl” who (like Lindsay) was caught in the Hollywood craziness, became a wild child, and saw her career (and her sanity) disappear well before her 30’s. She will also begin shooting for her new movie, Dare to Love Me

“Miley, you’re hot, dude!”

American Idol judge Randy Jackson exchanges knuckle knocks with Miley Cyrus at the taping of his show, Randy Jackson Presents America’s Best Dance Crew.

What would Randy say of Hannah Montana’s moves if she were on American idol? Not that the teen star needs any more compliments — her sold out concerns are “screaming proof” that she’s an American Idol.

Ben Affleck’s new love

jimmy_kimmel470.jpg

Sarah Silverman may have got the first laugh when she made her music video “I’m f*ing Matt Damon. But her boyfriend Jimmy Kimmel has a comeback: “I’m F—ing Ben Affleck.” Will his video get the 4 million hits that Sarah’s received on You Tube alone?

Kate Hudson: fat and loving it

kate_hudson2.jpg

Kate Hudson didn’t pick the most flattering dress to wear. The gray, shapeless shirt completely emphasizes her tummy bulge. But she doesn’t care. “I’m not worried about being totally perfect,” she says.

Who cares if she’s got extra fat when she’s got extra attitude? Work it, girl!

Spice Girls say goodbye

spice-girls.jpg

The Spice Girls have taken their final bow as a group at their last (and we hope they mean it this time) concert in Toronto. “Our time is up … we’ve come to the end of the road … there are tears of both sadness and joy. Look how far we’ve come!,” they said on their website.

Olsen twins writing fashion book

olsen-twins.jpg

Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen are collaborating on a book that will look at the influence of artists and fashion designers on celebrity fashion. Called “Influence” it will include big names like Christian Louboutin, Lauren Hutton and Bob Colacello.

The book does seem aligned to their other business ventures, particularly a clothing line called The Row.

But it’s kind of funny for them to peg themselves as fashion experts when the two are consistently named part of Hollywood’s Worst Dressed List.

Renfro snubbed by Oscar tribute

brad-renfro.jpg

Brad Renfro’s promising career (credits include The Client, Apt Pupil) was overshadowed by his drug addiction, and cut permanently by his death by accidental heroin overdose. But did it merit this snub from the Academy? The actor was completely omitted from the “In Memoriam” video tribute played at the Oscars event.

Those closest to his family said that they were deeply hurt by the ommission. The Academy reps said that wasn’t their intention — and that in their desire to honor everyone from all aspects of the industry, sometimes bigger names were left out.

Oh come on, would a 2-second mention really have hurt?

Despite getting pregnant, the actress looks dead-set on getting her life on track. She was photographed with a GED book last month. Well, maybe she’s learned a thing or two from watching her sister.

Britney’s Visit

britney-visits-kids.jpg

This is Britney Spears’ second visit this week, after her camp negotiated visitation rights last Friday. So far, nothing too surreal or psychotic happened.

Sources involved in the case say that Jamie Spears, her dad, was the real hero for who helped negotiate for visitation. Others are more skeptical of this sudden show of parental interest. While Britney’s life has settled down considerably, his desire to have “complete control” over her finances sounds less than altruistic.

paula-abdul.jpg

Paula Abdul is supposedly very disappointed in the results of her video,
Dance like There’s No Tomorrow.

“She doesn’t think it’s Heidi Montag-bad, but she’s still trying to pretend like it didn’t happen. If Randy (Jackson) wasn’t involved, she’d be more vocal about it, but she does appreciate the fact that he was involved,” said the source.

What would Simon Cowell say?
