While footballer Tom Brady was mainly absent during the birth of his son by ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan, he’s now going to be absent in a whole different, more permanent way. 

A healthy little boy was born to mama Bridget August 22 & she has now named the child John Edward Thomas Moynahan.  Notice anything that might be missing?

Sadly, the truth about the reason actor Owen Wilson was hospitalized over the weekend has come out.  While I was rather hoping for a bad cold turned pneumonia, police offers responded to an attempted suicide at Wilson’s home.

The Santa Monica police log states that the reason for the call was an attempted suicide by Mr. Wilson.  The police were telephoned by one of Owen’s brothers which arrived on the scene at 12:08pm on Sunday. 

Currently 38-year-old Wilson is in recovery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.  We’re wishing you well, Owen & hope that you find not one reason to live but thousands.

Jeez, this whole Britney Spears / Kevin Federline divorce crap is almost turning into a David Hasselhoff / Pamela Bach situation, and you know that that’s never a good compliment.

Brit’s ex-manager Larry Rudolph must feel the same way & has basically gone into hiding, hoping to avoid being served with papers to appear as a witness for the couple’s custody hearings. 

Doing his best to dodge a subpoena, Rudolph has released the following statement:

“Despite the things that Britney has publicly said about our relationship in the past, I truly understand where she’s coming from and why she’s said the things she said about me post-rehab and I don’t take it personally. As her former manager, I know and understand Britney better than anyone, I know what makes her tick and I understand everything she’s going through.

“With that being said, my loyalty will always stay strong with Britney. I have consulted with my lawyers and I do understand that eventually the time will come when they will find me, but until then, I’m trying to avoid being brought into this mess. She’s going through so much right now and I wish Britney the best.”

Well, it looks like Larry is sticking with Team Britney & for that I think I’m rather proud of the man, or fool, though the case may soon show….

Looking slight & not her usual lovely self, Angelina Jolie posed with a US troops on Tuesday while the actress was visiting Iraq.

Jolie, a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Refugee Agency, has been travelling around Iraq this week in order to spend some time with refugees displaced by the war as well as US troops.

While security for Goodwill Ambassadors usually takes a couple of weeks to plan, in the case of Angelina it took over a month.  Well, we do have to take care of our Hollywood flowers, whether they’re turning into shrinking violets or not.

Poor little ole Madonna, pal Angelina Jolie just made this whole adoption thing look easy, didn’t see?

Madonna & hubby Guy Ritchie took 13-month-old David Banda out of an orphanage in Malawi back in October of last year with plans on adopting the young child once all the papers & waiting periods were complete.

But now Malawi officials are coming to visit the family to make sure they are suitable parents for the now 22-month-old boy.  So, you tell me, do you think Madonna is a good enough mum for David?

Well folks, I was gallivanting around my grandparent’s house on Monday & missed giving you the full scoop on crooked nosed actor Owen Wilson.

Owen was hospitalized on Sunday for undisclosed reasons (nose surgery?) & has finally released an official statement regarding this new development.

38-year-old Wilson stated, ”I respectfully ask that the media allow me to receive care and heal in private during this difficult time.”

A hospital spokesperson said that Owen is in “good condition” but failed to comment on the consistent rumors that the actor had tried to kill himself.

Owen, cheer up, mate.  You’re always in the best movies, if you look over that Jackie Chan work anyway, and we love those blonde curls of yours.  Chin up & get better soon!

Recently, I relapsed and did things for which I am ashamed. I broke the law, and today I took responsibility by pleading guilty to the charges in my case. No matter what I said when I was under the influence on the day I was arrested, I am not blaming anyone else for my conduct other than myself. I thank God I did not injure others. I easily could have.

I very much want to be healthy and gain control of my life and career and have asked for medical help in doing so. I am taking these steps to improve my life. Luckily, I am not alone in my daily struggle and I know that people like me have succeeded. Maybe with time it will become easier. I hope so.
