Last Friday Owen Wilson & Kate Hudson were spotted dining at L.A.’s Chateau Marmont.  27-year-old Hudson arrived at the restaurant around 10:30 pm with three other ladies & 45 minutes later a baseball cap wearing Owen Wilson showed up and kissed the young actress on the cheek.

According to a restaurant patron, the recently separated Hudson was very pleased to see the Golden Stallion.  “It was Owen Wilson.  She was so happy to see him!”

The two lovebirds whispered into each other’s ears (sweet nothings?) and didn’t stop touching knees until they left.

The same patron added, “They gave each other their undivided attention.  They smiled the entire time.”

“They didn’t care who saw.”

Kevin Federline’s ex refuses to meet his children with pop diva Britney Spears. Shar Jackson, remember her from Moesha?, wants to keep the space between her & Spears quite open.

As posted earlier this year, Jackson & Federline have a two-year old son Kaleb & a four-year-old daughter Corey together.  With Brit & K-Fed’s children together, one-year-old Sean Preston & newborn Sutton Pierce, Kevin has been a busy lad for his young years.

Shar reveals, “I like to keep my distance.”

K-Fed, being the considerate gentleman he is, left Jackson when she was pregnant with their second child after he met Spears at a nightclub & joined her on the European leg of her tour.

Jackson shares her feeling from the break-up, “As far as I was concerned, I was OK that the relationship ended…but the family breaking up is something painful.

“And honestly I didn’t let it happen. Now in the beginning it was rough, because he was overseas, so I really didn’t have much control over there.

“But when he came back home, I told him, ‘Kevin, I’m not going to let you be a convenient father, when it’s convenient for you.’

“If you are going to be part of these kids’ lives, then you’re going to be a part. If not, then you’re not.’”

Clay Aiken is the ugly, awkward ducking turned into the more confident, new do swan. Clay has a new look, a new attitude, and by golly a new damn hairdo. So respect the boy, I mean man.

Aiken’s new album “A Thousand Different Ways” hit stores yesterday and by all accounts, the Clay fans are singing his praises. In a recent interview with People magazine, Clay revealed a little bit more about the new hairdo swan he has become.

On His New Do:

“I’m becoming a man, not just with my hair, but with my life. This year’s been an education: the education of Clay.”

On His Reported Gayness:

“What do you say (to that question)? … It’s like when I was 8. I remember something would get broken in the house, and Mom and Dad would call me in and say, ‘Did you do this?’ Well, it didn’t matter what I said. The only thing they would believe was yes. … People are going to believe what they want.”

That’s the best avoider answer I believe I’ve ever heard, he’s a master of the art.

On Panic Attacks He Suffered After American Idol:

“I’d walk into a room and say to myself, ‘I am not going to have a problem when these people stare at me.’ … But then (in) that situation, my heart would start pumping, and I’d start sweating and looking around nervously and shaking. I felt like I was going to have a heart attack.”

On Taking Anti-Anxiety Drugs:

According to one source grandmom Pricilla loves Ryan, “He has that rocker thing going that all the Presley women love.  The couple’s biggest fan is . . . her grandma.”

Britney Spears & Kevin Federline have brought baby Sutton Pierce home.  The 6 pounds, 11 ounces Sutton will now have to face life in the Spears-Federline home and decide his strategy as a little brother to Sean Preston.

Everyone was overjoyed to welcome Sutton to the fold.  K-Fed’s mom states, “We are all so happy!”

According to a Us Weekly source, the September 12th birth by C-section “went really smoothly.”

As Brit was being checked out of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in LA, she wore a beanie, rode in a wheelchair pushed by husband Federline and held baby Sutton in her arms.  Yep, that does sound like best case scenario for Brit to carry a baby.

It has been a big month for the Spears-Federline family, as toddler Sean turned one on September 14 and the couple’s two-year anniversary was last Friday. 
 
As to what the duo did to celebrate, one source states, “They stayed home.  A lot of bonding went on. Sean and Sutton get along great!”

Well, the end of the Spears pregnancy #2 has come & gone.  If history tells us anything, baby #3 is well on her way.

The widow of Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin will give her first television interview since the death of her husband.  Terri Irwin will be giving this honor to Barbara Walters.   

Walters announced on The View this morning that she is headed to Australia to Irwin’s Crocoseum memorial service and will also be interviewing Terri and her 8-year-old daughter Bindi.

Irwin was killed September 4th by a stingray barb to the heart while he was snorkeling off the coast of Australia.

Walters said, “Tomorrow there is this great memorial service for Steve Irwin, who died so tragically and so young.

“His wife has not talked to anyone about this and I’m going to go to Brisbane, Australia, to do an interview with Terri Irwin and their little girl Bindi.

“To discuss what her life was, what her relationship with her husband was like, how she heard. The whole world seemed to care about him.”

Walters will be doing a one-hour special which will air next Wednesday evening.

Sin City’s Clive Owen has defended the casting of fellow British actor Daniel Craig for the role of Bond, James Bond.

Daniel Craig has taken over the Bond reigns from Irishman Pierce Brosnan who had the infamous role for three of the Bond series movies.

Owen was another actor slated to play the part of the suave spy, but is overjoyed for Craig & insists that he is thrilled that a “proper actor” has been cast as 007.  A slight on Brosnan?

Owen states, “I think when Craig first took the part he got a pretty rough ride, which to a certain extent is inevitable because there are so many different people who have so many different ideas about something like that. You are never going to please everybody.

“The thing that is really exciting is that he is a proper actor. He is not shallow or posing. They have cast a really serious actor and I think that when the film comes out everyone will see what a great choice he was.”

Wow.  Seems like the English still have a grudge for the Irish.
