Jennifer Lopez and her husband Marc Anthony have signed a clothing line deal with Macy’s. The power couple will bring to the store a line of menswear, womenswear and homewear.
The new lifestyle fashion venture is expected to generate upwards of $3 billion in sales for Macy’s. The deal also marks the first time a celebrity couple have worked on a clothing line for one retailer at the same time. In 2009 the couple closed down their Sweetface luxury sportwear line.
Jennifer Lopez will work on the womenwears apparel and accessories while Anthony will do the same for the mens line.
According to PopCrunch:
Jennifer’s collection will feature sportswear, dresses, handbags, jewelry, shoes, and sleepwear while Marc Anthony will lend his designing talents to sportswear, dress shirts, neck wear, accessories, suit separates, sport coats, and shoes.
Kevin Mansell, Kohl’s Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer, said in a statement:

Macy’s has become very celebrity oriented over the last several years, including lines by Lauren Conrad, Avril Lavigne, Abbey Dawn and various other celebs.
