The big green guy may soon be returning to network TV with rumors circulating that ABC wants to revive the Incredible Hulk franchise with a new live-action Hulk series.

According to Deadline.com, ABC and Marvel Entertainment are working together to develop the series which would debut in time for the Fall 2011 season.

The original CBS Hulk Series starred Lou Ferrigno from 1978-1983. Recently Ferrigno has been seen in various cameo and other roles, perhaps this whole trend is part of some weird 70′s retro return.

In other news, the Cloak And Dagger comic is rumored to be in the works over at ABC Family.
