First it was an extra being injured on the set of Transformers 3 and today it’s a police officer who drove through the movie’s perimeter before colliding with one of the films stars….Bumblebee!

According to TMZ:

A nearby shop owner says  was a lot of police activity in the area right at the time of the accident due to a bomb scare. It is unclear if the cop car involved in the accident was part of that investigation.

D.C. police soon after released a statement in which they confirmed that the police officer was part of their Explosives Ordinances Division and that they were transported to a local hospital.
