MTV Video Music Awards

The 2010 MTV VMA Awards kicked off with Eminem and ended with Kanye West and while those legends of Rap may have ushered in and out the show, it was Lady Gaga and her 13 nominations that dominated the night. While performances by Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift showed that pop music is alive and kicking in full force.

Any surprises that you didn’t expect? Overall it was an amusing night and Chelsea Handler did a pretty good job as the first female to ever host the show.
