With Transformers is no longer in her future and Jonah Hex finished filming, mega-hottie Megan Fox is said to be actively campaigning for a role in the comic book movie Gen 13 where she wants to play the character Rainmaker.

During the premiere of Jonah Hex, Megan Fox told Fox 411:

“I don’t want people to protest this, but I would like to be [Sarah] Rainmaker in ‘Gen 13′ if they ever made that into a movie.”

If you’re unfamiliar with Gen 13 it’s part of the Wildstorm series that debuted in 1994 and was created by Jim Lee and Brandon Choi. The storyline surrounds a group of young superheroes including Rainmaker, an Apache-born character who can manipulate the weather.

It should be noted that the sexuality of Rainmaker had been deemed early as a “lesbian” while in later issues she was said to be bisexual.

While Fox admits it would be a bit of a stretch for her to play an Apache she also noted:

“It would be a bit of a stretch — but if Jake Gyllenhaal can be the Prince of Persia, I think that I can do that.”

What do you think? Megan Fox as Rainmaker in Gen 13? Personally I wouldn’t mind, but I wouldn’t be in the theater to watch the movie as much as to watch Megan Fox.
